"Shane stop!" We yelled as Shane shoots the walker that Hershel was holding three times "that's three rounds to the chest, why is it still standing?" He yells I back up as he waves his gun around. Shane turns and shoots the walker in its heart "no living person could live through that!" I shake my head, glaring at him "Shane enough!" Rick yells "your right man enough," he says as he shoots the walker in the head the walker falls lifelessly on the ground, Hershel fell on his knees staring at it in shock.

"Enough living next to a barn full of walkers" Shane turns and looks at the barn, "and enough looking for a little girl who is dead!" he yells looking back at us, Carol lets out a small cry. "You don't know that Shane!" I yelled as Daryl walks up and stood next to me, Shane ignores me as he smashes the lock on the barn.

He hits the doors as he opens them, attracting the walkers "shit" I said. We raised our guns, we had to kill them now, there was nothing else we could do, One by one the walkers were killed. I frown when I heard Beth's sobs, I hated this Shane should not have done this.

We lowered our guns once they were all dead, "ya okay?" I turn to see Daryl looking at me, I nodded my head slowly "yeah, I think so" I mumbled. A growl filled the air, all eyes were once again on the barn slowly the growl grew louder as the walker made its way out, a feeling of dread was in the air. The first thing we saw was a small rotten hand on the door, then was the equally rotten leg stepping out of the barn followed by the other leg.  I let out a gasp as I saw her face.

We all stood there frozen "No!" Carol cries as she runs towards her baby, Daryl and I catch her in time, all of us falling to the floor I wrapped her in a hug, tears running down both of our faces. Daryl sat there staring at us with a concerned look. I flinched when I heard the gunshot Carol got up and ran off, but I stayed sitting silently crying. No one deserved to die like that especially a child, I felt a hand on my shoulder I didn't have to look up to know who it was "come on" Daryl says I slowly got up we walked towards our tent.

"what are you doing?" I asked, "moving our tent" I nodded slowly, staring at the rock in front of my feet, "I should have look harder" he sighs "it's not your fault" he mumbles "It's not yours either, I know that's what your thinking," I said looking him in the eyes.  He shakes his head "it's my fault because I lost her, and I couldn't find her" I mumbled "stop".

He walks up to me placing his hand on my arm, "It's not your fault, it was just an accident" I nodded "okay" I whispered Daryl wraps his arms around me pulling me into a hug, I wrapped my arms around him hugging back.

We all stood silently looking at the three graves, everyone was here except Carol she refused to come, we all went our own ways once the funeral was done I walked over to carl who was sitting in the grass by himself "hey kid" I said, sitting down. "Hey" He mumbles "how are you feeling" he turns and looks at me his eyes were red from crying "I miss her" I frown "I do too bud" he nods, "I think she would have liked it here"  I look at him, tilting my head "yeah, do you like it here?" I asked He nods "yeah, lots of space to run around".

I smiled, "I hope we can stay" he says "don't worry your dad is going to figure something out, he always does" he turns and smiles at me "we should do this more" I giggled softly "do what?" he turns and looks at the house, then back at me "hang out".

"Why would you want to hang out with me?" I asked "because your fun, duh," he says like it was the most obvious thing in the whole world. "Hate to break it to you bud, but I'm as fun as watching paint dry"  I said with a serious look, Carl burst out laughing, "what? Am I that funny?" He nods now that he had calmed down, I smiled "of course I am" I said, flipping my hair with my hand, causing us to laugh.
