"What!" I said Rick sighs "are you serious?" I asked him, Rick had just told me there were walkers in the barn. "Yeah, but we can't do anything about it if we want to stay," he says "Okay, then we leave, one day that chain is going to break when we least expect it, " I said. Staying here with a barn full of walkers was stupid but I know we can't do anything about it without Hershel's permission since this is his farm.
"We have to stay Faye, we have to," he says as he runs his hand down his face I looked at him, a confused look on my face what is he talking about? "Why Rick, why do we need to stay here so bad?" He looks down at the ground "Tell me what is so important, that you're going to let us stay by a barn full of walkers?" I asked.
He looks up at me "Lori's pregnant" I froze, my eyes widened "You're joking, right?" I asked. He sighs "No" Holly hell this is bad, "oh hell, is it yours?" I asked "yeah, even if it is biologically not mine, it's mine," He says I nod "okay then it's yours," I said.
"What are you going to do Rick, knowing Shane he's going to something stupid," I told him "yeah I know, right now I'm trying to figure something out with Hershel" I nodded "okay, anything you want me to do?" I asked. "Can you keep an eye on Shane?" he asks I nod "sure" he smiles as he puts his hand on my shoulder "thanks Faye" he says "no problem" I replied with a smile.
He removes his hand and walks away. I sighed as I buried my face into my hands I removed my hands and walked outside okay where would Shane be? I looked around and saw him pacing back and forth in front of the barn. Of course, he's guarding the barn, I quickly walked over.
"Hey Shane," I said, he turns and looks at me "Hey," He says "What are you doing?" I asked Shane went back to pacing, ignoring me. "this isn't right" he finally says, I agree that it isn't right but it's not our call, it's Rick's and Hershel's call and Rick said he would handle it and I trust Rick. "we should open the barn and kill the walkers inside" he says I glare at him "Rick, said not to do anything Shane" he turns "to hell with that, Rick is going to get everyone killed!"
"No, he's not, Rick is making the right call here Shane," I said. Shane walks closer to me "you really believe that? Rick can't lead you he can't save you" he says "oh and you can? Your not our leader Shane deal with it!"
He glares at me before walking off, I sighed as I turned and walked towards mine and Daryl's tent. When I walked in Daryl gave me a concerned look "you okay?" he asks I turned and looked at him "yeah, Shane is getting on my nerves" I mumbled as I sat down next to him.
"He gets on everyone's nerves," Daryl says. I laughed "yeah, he does," I said "Rick wants me to keep an eye on Shane because he doesn't trust him not to do anything stupid" I mumbled. He nods "Yeah I wouldn't trust him either" He gets up "let's go look for Sofia" he says he reaches down to help me up "thanks".
We walk out if the tent and headed towards the stables. Once we get their Daryl starts to get the horse ready "ever ride on a horse before?" he asks "no" I said "hey you guys can't go out your still injured" we turn to see Carol. I thought she would want us to go out and look for her daughter.
