"hey Dare, im thinking of going on a run" I said as we sit in our tent "okay just be safe, im going to look for sophia again, ima take one of hershel's hores" he says "okay, you be safe too okay?" I said looking at him, he raised his head and looked at me "yeah" I smiled, good I wouldn't be able to handle it if I ost him too.
I got up, "Im going to head out now" I said as I patted my thigh twice telling Bilzzard to follow he nods. I waked out of the tent, I saw Rick siting next to Lori "hey guys, im going on a run" I said "do you know where your going" he asked "yeah, we' re by a town called Springlight, Its a few miles north of here" I said he nods, "you can take my jeep" Shane says as he walks up "you sure?" I ask he nods "yes".
I nodded "okay, im going to go now, I should be back before dinner" I said before walking over to Shane's jeep. Me and Bliaazrd got into the jeep I grabbed his key out of the glove box, and started the car "lets go girl" I said. I started to pull away.
I took a right once I got back to the main road, Blizzard had her head out the window, looking around, probably trying to rember how to get back incase she gets lost. I smiled she was a smart dog, I ran a hand through my hair, my other hand on the steering wheel.
I had a bad feeling about today, I was trying to stay calm I hope Daryl and the rest stay safe. I saw a sign 1 mile to Springlight good we're almost there maybe this bad feeling wil go away once we get there.
After a mile, I took a left turn into Springlight I pulled over to the curb, I turned the car off taking the keys out, I hooked them on Blizzards collar. "lets go girl, stay close" I got out of the jeep, I took my Kinfe out, I had decide to leave my bow at camp, all I had on me was my two knifes and a gun, hopefully thats enought to protcet myself with.
The town was a ghost town, last time I was here it was filled with people, My aunt Paige and her Daughter Robin lived here, Robin is a year younger than me. Robin had red hair green eyes and freckles, she kind of reminded me of Lilly Evans from Harry Potter.
I thought that I might as well check ther house since im close by. "there it is" I whispered to myself, I walked onto the porch I kicked the door, after a minute of hearing nothing inside I tried to open the door, key word tried. The door was locked, "crap" do i have my pick lock on me, or a bobby pin, I searched my pokets, nothing "great im going to have to kick it down"
I was about to kicked the door down when I rembered that aunt paige kept a second key hidden under a rock incase I came over to get away form dad. I went into the garden, Imeditly feeling ike some was watching me I looked around, "Im probably imagining things right Blizzard?" I said as I looked at her. I grabbed the rock which was glued onto a top of a pill bottle, that he the key inside.
I walked back onto the porch, I unlocked the door slowly opening it "stay alert girl" I said. The house looked empty, okay here I go, I raised my knife "hello?" I called out, nothing "Aunt Paige? Robin? you guys here?" I called out. I hear somting upstairs I look up too see a blur of red running down the stairs "Faye!" I dropped my kife and wraped my arms around her "Robin, your okay, thank God" I said.
