They were everywhere.
So many screams and blood and explosions and—
"NICO!" A female voice screamed at me.
An explosion sounded when I turned.
"AGENT BELLA!" A male voice shouted at me. "DO IT!"
A gunshot echoed in my head when I didn't listen.
"LIAM!" I cried to no one.
The world's sound and colors faded to nothing when my body shut down.
And then the whole world shut down...
Just into nothing.
Everything happened at once...
And it instantly vanished at once...
And then it repeated.
Over.
And over again.
I tried to get out. I really tried.
It felt like I was suffocating, like my lungs ceased to exist.
I felt like I was blind, like my sockets were merely voids.
I felt like I was deaf, like my ears were just bells.
Long.
Ringing.
Bells.
My body vanished. The floor vanished. The ceiling was impossibly low.
Nothing existed anymore...
Nothing except pain.
So... so much pain.
"Please..." a meek voice said in my head. Where did it come from? "Please... let me go..."
The pain continued.
"Please... Allah have mercy..."

It was so dark. So cold. So... empty."Agent Bella?" A softer voice spoke to me in the darkness.
My entire body felt stiff. There was a gentle beeping sound which emerged from the deafening ringing. Where was I?
"Agent Bella, do you hear me?" the voice came again.
The voice sounded so familiar. I reached out from the darkness to try and find it.
"I'm right here, Agent Bella," the voice said again but closer. "It's alright."I reached for it in the darkness and grabbed at the voice...
And I slowly opened my eyes to see a blinding white light. I squinted my eyes, trying to move my arm up with great force to block it. Why did my arm feel so heavy? I know I've gained a little weight, but not that much. Am I just waking up from a bad dream or something?
