"Niki?"
"Hmm? Chto sluchilos' [what's wrong]?"
"Why did you move to Turkey?"
"Why not?"
"Well, you're mom is in Panama, while you're brother lives in Spain and visits Russia every three years. Why not live somewhere with them?"
"Well, Turkey was a better financial move. Plus, Turkey is known for its high quality education. At the time, I wanted more para mí familia. Moy otets was giving moy mama a brutal living experience, so I did whatever I could to gain money. If it weren't for my brother doing so many side jobs for him and giving me the the opportunity to be a doctor, I don't know where I'd be."
"But... isn't your father...?"
"Dead? Sí, but authorities have no idea how he died."
"There were rumors that a Soldier from the Agency killed him because he tried to capture him for experimentation."
"I've heard that one the most."
"Do you believe it?"
"...Honestly, it seems valid considering the man he was. But, to answer your question, I came to Turkey for a better life. That and possibly meet new and better people. And seeing that I met you, it really worked out."
"..."
"¿Que?"
"Hmmm... I'm just..."
"Yes?"
"...I'm glad I'm with someone like you, y'know?"
"..."
"Hehe! Didn't expect you to blush from a comment as simple as that."
"...I'm just glad I'm lucky enough to even have you in my life. I'm grateful for everything you've done for me."

Out of anything that I would've done differently today, it would've been everything. Maybe I should've come in a little later or just not have spoken to Vince? Maybe I should've come in on time and not have got woken up by my little alarm clock? Or how about this? How about I pay attention to my surroundings and NOT BUMP INTO THAT GOD DAMN ENGINEER!
...Okay. I think I'm good. I'm way too stressed.
"You alright there?" A voice said to me in my train of thought.
I flinched and quickly saluted at the person. I expected a military personnel in their full gear or possibly a Scout since I was on my way to the Scouting Grounds by Speedway. Instead, it was a woman with large, round eyes the color of mint. Her skin was a creamy pale tone, and her hair had large, sandy brown curls (more on the brown side). She was very curvy with thick hips, arms, and legs. She had hair as if she were of African descent, but her lighter features gave off the illusion that she wasn't. But it was obvious that she was. And she definitely wasn't someone from the military considering her lilac scrubs.
