It was her big day. The day her life would forever unite with his. Serena was dress in a stunning, shimmering wedding dress as her bridesmaids bustled around her, making sure everything was perfect for the bride.

"Ok. It's time." Shauna beamed.

"You look amazing. He is a lucky man." Miette added.

"Are you ready?" Shauna asked.

"More than I have ever been." Serena smiled.

The three girls left the dressing room and made their way to the altar. First was Bonnie, the flower girl, then there was Shauna and Miette. All of them walked slowly and gracefully down the aisle. Then it was finally time for the bride.

Serena entered and suddenly, everything felt off for her. She looked to her guests and their happy faces. However, Clemont wasn't. He looked sad and heart broken. Her heart clenched in her chest but before she could react, he vanished.

"Serena, you look amazing." Ash smiled to her.

Serena turned her attention to her groom but it didn't feel right. She didn't feel the same warmth and joy when she looked into his eyes. She wanted to see Clemont again and make sure he was ok.

She didn't even realize the ceremony had begun and they were onto the 'i does'.

"Serena, do you take Ash Ketchum to be your lawful wedded husband?"

"I...I can't. I'm sorry, I have to go." Serena turned to go.

"Wait, I thought this is what you wanted." Ash asked.

Serena stared back at Ash for what felt like forever.

"I don't...think it is anymore." Serena replied. "I'm sorry, but I have to go."

With that, she ran out of the church and tossed the bouquet over her shoulder.

"Clemont! Clemont where are you? Clemont please!" Serena called.

"Serena? What are you doing out here? Shouldn't you be getting married to the man of your dreams?" Clemont suddenly appeared.

"I'm not getting married. I just wanted to know why you disappeared. Why couldn't you stay with me?" Serena asked.

"I think you should know that one by now." Clemont caressed her cheek.

Serena's cheeks grew rosy as she leaned into his touch. It was then that everything felt perfect.

"I do...I think I love you too." Serena whispered.

"I thought so." Clemont smiled warmly.

They slowly began to lean in and their eyes closed. Their lips were millimeters apart.

Serena sat up in her bed with her face bright red. She replayed those last moments of the dream, over and over.

"What...what just happened?" Serena questioned herself.

She couldn't believe she just dreamed of wanting to kiss Clemont. He was her friend. Sure, he was a sweet and caring guy, but she never thought of him as something more than that. Until now.

Now, the image of Clemont and his sweet, warm smile just before they went to kiss was all she could think about. Her cheeks grew redder and redder the more she thought of it. Thought of him. She didn't get much sleep the rest of the night.
