After Serena's trip in the Hoenn region she returned to Kalos to win the title of Kalos Queen. She went back to Lumiose to see Clement and Bonnie again and they started traveling together. Serena had won 2 princess keys already and Bonnie, Clemont, and herself were on there way to the next showcase. However, there was a bit of a problem at the moment. They either had to make the long tread around a rocky cliff or go straight through it.
"I say we go through it." Bonnie announced.
"And I say we don't. It's to dangerous." Clemont argued with his little sister.
"Hm. What do you think Serena?" Bonnie asked looking for someone to settle the decision.
"Well.." Serena started looking at her pokenave before answering. "It would be quicker to through the cliff and if we go around it I might miss the showcase so...I say we go through."
"But Serena-" Clemont tried to say but was interrupted.
"Come on! If we hurry we will be there in no time." Bonnie said pulling Serena toward the cliffs.
"Hu find." Clemont huffed then followed them.
The girls talked but Clemont stayed quiet watching the rock walks in case one of the rocks came tumbling down toward them.
But then Bonnie told a joke "Why did the magikarp flop across the road?"
"I don't know why?" Serena asked.
"Because there was no water." Bonnie said while giggling. (I know is not a great joke but I couldn't think of anything else)
"Hahahah!" Serena laughed.
"Will you two keep it down, I don't want a rock to come loose and crush us." Clemont whispered just loud enough for them to hear.
"Oh lighten up Clemont we are perfectly safe." Serena assured.
Unfortunately, Clemont was right and he saw some rocks come loose and they were heading for Bonnie and Serena. He had to think quickly so he used his aipom arm to grab Bonnie and pull her out of the way. Then he ran at Serena and pushed her out of the way but he wasn't able to save himself. Serena set there for a moment in shock of what just happened, as was Bonnie. Fortunately, they came to quickly and started to pull the rocks off him.
'Please be ok, please be ok!' Serena screamed in her head.
They eventually cleared the rocks enough to get Clemont out and of course he was unconscious but he was still breathing.
"We have to get him to the hospital quickly!" Serena said franticly.
"I have an idea." Bonnie said then grabbed one of Clemont's Pokeballs from his bag and throw it up. "Come out Luxray."
The Pokemon appeared from the Pokeballs in a flash of light "lux lux?" It asked waiting for a command.
"Luxray we need your help to get Clemont to a hospital, he's hurt!" Bonnie told the Pokemon.
It nodded understanding the urgency, Luxray lay down so they could get on its back. Once everyone was on, Luxray took off careful not to disturb the rocks.
'You'll be ok soon, just hand in there Clemont.' Serena thought worried.
They entered the city within 5 minutes, thanks to luxray's speed but the ride seemed like hours. Serena quickly told Luxray to way to the hospital. Luxray barged through the hospital doors gaining everyone in the rooms attention.
"Someone help please!" Serena yelled.
"Please!" Bonnie yelled too.
"What's the matter? Who's hurt?" Said a female doctor with long red hair.
