Quickly Mario jumped into action Luigi shortly following up. As they ran towards the ball Mario hopped on Luigi as a footstool. "Alright Mario lets get him!" Luigi said as he threw Mario an object. It turned out to be a hammer. And so just as fast as Mario got airborne he caught the hammer and began smashing his foe. But something was off.
All of a sudden Mario was in pain while the dolor's spirit was completely unscathed. Luigi noticed this and tried to attack the dolor himself. But just like before it only hurt the brothers. The dolor started cackling maniacally "wow how stupid can you be?" it said trying to hold back tears "you two should know the more you hit me the more pain you feel!" it said a sense of triumph in its voice. This put the brothers into shock as they quickly scrambled trying to dodge the onslaught of lasers.
Suddenly an idea popped into Luigi's head as he had a revelation. He stopped in his tracks standing there doing absolutely nothing leaving Mario screaming "What are you doing Luigi!" in terror. But before Luigi could say anything he got hit dead in the chest with one of the lasers. Mario looked in awe preparing himself to run in and catch Luigi. But Luigi did not fall.
Luigi stood up straight as ever as more lasers blazed onto him. But he felt nothing as the dolor started slowing it's fire. "So you finally figured it out." the dolor blankly said. "I guess your not stupid as I thought unlike your brother." Mario noticed and took offence to that.
"Well I guess you got me. Go ahead the back doors right over there." And with that the brothers were back to the start of their conversation with the ice cream man. But this time the dolor was a real five dollar bill. And after a long day the brothers got to enjoy a dolor's worth of ice cream.
