Suddenly they were in what looked like what was another world even for their standards. Instead of the bright roads they were at before there was nothing but a ball in the air shining like the dolor had before. "Luigi where are we?" Mario asked as he looked around. "I don't know, but one thing I do know is that I don't like being here." the green brother replied.
As they walked around a bit they got more used to the lack of anything interesting. That is until they reached something that seemed out of place. It was the dolor that has betrayed them earlier. Mario had a scary sense of surprise on his face as he said "eh Luigi is that what I think that is?"
As Luigi stared in awe practically biting his fingernails off, the brother's question was answered. A voice entered both Mario and Luigi's head stating "I am the dolor and it seems that I was given as a mere token to you too, but I don't like that treatment." It said quietly as Luigi started to panic. "So now," the voice continued, "You will have to prove your worth to me." All Luigi could do was slowly nod as Mario prepared himself for whatever came next wiping the dirt off his gloves.
"Alrighty then I guess our wish is your command," Mario said accepting the current situation at hand. The dolor's spirit commended this readiness as he proceeded to tell the brothers their task. "Great then you two must be able to defeat me; hope you're both ready," The spirit said cackling. And before Mario was able to utter another word the ball from earlier started shooting out blazing lights with one goal in mind, taking out the brothers.
