Its official (Part 2)

MAXS POV

It was time for me to get up and get ready, I didn't want to head back to my dorm so soon so I stayed over at Chloe's again. I loved being with her it's like I was able to fill a void in my heart that opened up when I left Arcadia.

M-"Che! It's time to get up if you wanna take me to school haha"

C-"Ughhhh whyyyy I wanna sleeep"

M-"me too Chloe but I have school! Once you have dropped me off you can come back here and go to sleep or you can even wait in my dorm and go to sleep there. If you stay in my dorm I can come check up on you at break"

C-"ughhh fine I'm only doing this coz I love you and I wanna be there for you when you tell Warren"

M-"I love you too Che now get up"

We both got out of bed and once again I had to head out wearing Chloe's clothes but honestly I didn't mind because they are so much better than mine. Chloe wore her usual combat pants a tank top and her beanie.

We head downstairs and to our surprise Joyce isn't there but she left us a note

I had to start work early today sorry girls I will make it up to you by making my special pancakes for you both

We both head out to Chloe's truck and get in, she drives me all the way to the car park and we both get out. I can see Warren at the other side of the car park and I'm guessing he sees me too coz he is heading towards us

W-"sup max"

M-"I have to talk to you Warren"

W-"go ahead"

M-"I know you like me... everyone knows you do but the thing is...."

W-"yeah??"

M-"Well I'm kind of dating Chloe now, I hope you understand"

Warren went quiet then stormed towards Chloe. I ran after him but he had punched her by the time I had got around the truck.

M-"WHAT THE FUCK WARREN!"

I grabbed his wrist so he wouldn't hit Chloe again. He pushed me away and I tripped on the curb.

All of a sudden I feel a sharp pain in the back of my head, then everything goes dark.

A few minutes later I wake up in Chloe's car. She had a few bruises so Warren clearly hadn't stopped.

M-"Che?? What happened back there?"

C-"Oh my god max!"

Chloe pulled over and gave me the biggest hug ever. When she finally let go I rubbed the back of my head with my hand and all of a sudden I felt something... I looked at my hand and it was covered in blood.

M-"Shit!"

C-"Yeah that's why you are in my car! I was going to take you to the hospital."

I felt a stinging sensation in my right arm and I looked and there was a huge cut down my arm.

M-"what happened!"

C-"Warren freaked out when you told him we were dating and he punched me so you tried to stop him and he pushed you. You tripped over the curb and hit your head on some rocks and cut your arm on smashed glass on the sidewalk and then you just blacked out"

M-"WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH HIM"

As I leaned back to get more comfortable, my arm rubbed agains the towel on Chloe's seats and I could feel the stinging all over again and my eyes started to fill up. I didn't really want to cry in front of Chloe... I've cried in front of her before so why do I feel like I shouldn't right now?

A few tears rolled down my cheek as Chloe carried on driving to the hospital.
