CHLOES POV 

M-" I kinda....love you..."

Shit what am I meant to say to her. Yes I love her too but I still cant take my mind off of Rachel too. Rachel would probably want me to be happy I guess.

C-"I love you too Max"

M-" really?"

C-"Yeah really... I've loved you since day 1 max and when you left to go to Seattle that honestly broke me because I didn't know when I was gonna see you again.The day I met you I knew that we were gonna be best friends but then like 2 years in when you turned 13 I knew I wanted something more than a friendship and just as I was ready enough to tell you how I really felt my mom came into my room to tell me that I wouldn't be able to see you as much anymore because you had moved away. After that everything had gone downhill, I started getting into more and more trouble in school because I felt I had no reason to be in there when my best friend was gone... that was when I met Rachel. We got in big trouble for leaving school without permission and she was meant to be getting expelled from school which meant she had to leave the play so I took the blame for her and that's why I'm not in school right now. She was my best friend because I didn't have you or my dad when I needed you both the  most... I had almost given up on you until I saw you in the school parking lot and I was so happy I wanted to cry...."

M-"Wow... Chloe I wish I would have known. If I had the choice to stay in Arcadia where I could see my best friend all the time I would have. The whole time I was in Seattle I was broken without you, I wanted to call you all the time but cried whenever I wanted to do it because I didn't know whether you would answer or not especially after leaving you and not telling you myself..."

Wow max seems like she feels really bad for not messaging me or calling she is literally crying next to me. I'm gonna pull over.

C-"Max come on lets go for a walk"

M-"Wh-where?"

C-"just down on the beach"

I wrap my arm around Max's neck and we head down towards the beach. We walk closer to the shore and I stop. I turn towards and pick her up wrapping her legs round my waist and her arms around my neck.

I kiss her. It was a long passionate kiss. Not like any kiss I've done before, this was new to me. 

We were stood there for about 5 minutes and we still hadn't taken a breath yet. I loved this and didn't want it to end. Max broke it up by gasping for air and I laughed.

C-"Should we head back to mine? its getting late and you have school tomorrow"

M-"Fuck school I don't want this to end"

C-"Woah max when did you have a side to you which was badass"

M-"I don't exactly know but I like it haha"

C-"honestly me too"

I carry Max back to my truck because she refused to move but I don't mind because she is hella light so there's no struggle for me. I walk round to Max's side and put her down on the seat but before she lets go of me she gives me a kiss so I kiss her back and walk round to the drivers seat. Max grabs my hand so I allow it and I drive back to my place.

Mom must be at work so we just run upstairs and walk into my room. I lay down on my bed and pull out my phone. No missed calls. oh well

Max lays next to me and rests her head on my chest with her arm around my stomach.

I think I fell asleep but I woke up to my mom shouting my name, I don't wanna answer because I don't wanna wake Max up so I just wait for my mom to come upstairs and eventually she does.

J-"Chloe I was shouting you to tell you I'm back from work"

C-"I know but I don't wanna wake Max up just yet"

J-"Awh that's cute, is there anything going on with you two because you would be a great couple"

M-"Thanks joyce I think so too"

C-"JESUS! Max how long have you been awake for?"

M-"about 30 minutes but I was gonna try go back to sleep until I heard Joyce shouting up the stairs"

C-"And you couldn't have said anything when you heard her, you shit me up then"

M-"Oh well, your reaction was way funnier anyways"
