I'm sorry Che

CHLOES POV

Shit I didn't really tell her where I was going... she expects me to be waiting outside her room when actually I'm halfway to Blackwell to find that son of a bitch Warren. I should have told Max what I'm dong first...

I need to text Max and tell her what is happening. I pull over and take my phone out and see a text.... Mad Max... the name is right at the top of my screen...

Max: Where are you che? I thought you were getting some air but you aren't outside?

Me: I need to go talk to Warren and don't tell me not to because I'm already halfway there...

Max: SHIT! Chloe why?! You saw how he acted earlier he could be more violent when he sees you! 

Me: Don't worry, clearly a nerd like him wouldn't get any more violent than that... also I need to go talk to Nathan

Max: WHAT?! NO CHLOE DONT! That psycho threatened you with a gun on Monday he is way worse than Warren and I really don't wanna see you get  hurt :(

Me: NO EMOJIIIIIII!!!!! 

Max: Really Che? that's what you are focusing on right now?

Me: oh shut up max... I'm turning the truck around now and I'm heading back to the hospital

Max: yay :) 

Me: NO EMOJI!

Max: just shut up and get ur cute ass here 

Ill admit, I was hella upset when Max made that joke earlier but I get she was just joking so I don't know why it hurt me so much... I guess I was just thinking about what would happen if I lost another one of my best friends... Rachel is missing and Max is the only person I have left. If anything happened to Max I would be alone.... again....

I turned my truck around and forgot about going back to Blackwell... I just wanted to be near Max.... As I got out of my truck in the hospital car park I could see Max looking down at me from her room window... at first her smile was distorted as if she didn't think I was coming back but then when she looked at me her face changed, her distorted smile had turned into a proper smile. One thing that confused me was why was Max out of the bed... she wasn't the type of person to go against the rules but either way she was happy to see me...

As soon as I walked in the door to her room she ran over to me and gave me a hug. She flinched as she did it so  could tell that her hugging me was making her be in pain so I stopped the hug quickly and sat down next to her bed. 

C-"I'm sorry I left like that Max without telling you where I was actually going...."

M-"No its okay Che... also I'm sorry I made that stupid joke earlier I don't know what I was thinking, I could tell that when I said it, it hurt you..."

C-"its okay Max I swear"

M-"Also I was worried you weren't gonna listen to me and that you were gonna go to Blackwell"

C-"I'm sorry I made you worry..."

M-"Its okay Che, just please don't go back to Blackwell unless I'm with you"

C-"Whatever Max"
