Babysitting "The Bad Boy"

Kylies Gift

Jake takes Kylies hand and walks out of the house. They go into his car and he starts driving. "Where are we going?" she asks curiously. He just shrugs and answers "To get your gift"

After a long drive they end at the beach. Jake blindfolds Kylie and walks her to an area he decorated. He takes off her blindfold and shows her what he did. There was a a mat in the floor with a blanket on top. There was a picnic basket with a rose on top, which he picked up and handed to her. "happy birthday love" he whispered in her ear before taking his seat. Kylie simply smiles and sits next to him with her head laying on his shoulder. He holds her close while opening the basket and taking out some grapes. He feeds her some and then catches some in his own mouth. Kylie is overjoyed she just holds Jake close and tightly and whispers " I know this is early but I love you..."  He looks at her and kisses her softly before pulling away and whispering back "don't worry I love you too".

Some time had passed by them just talking and laughing together. Then Jake gets a message on his phone from  the groupchat they were all in. It was from Shawn saying -to where the fuck are you guys? I had to stay and help Alice clean up- Jake just sighs and gets up "guess out time together for now is over" They both head inside the car and Jake drives them back to Kylie's place.

I'm downstairs taking the trash out, while Shawn is picking up the trash from the floor. I'm just surprised he actually stayed to help, and with me here. After finishing cleaning up we sit on separate couches awkwardly. Shawn's just using his phone not looking at me, as usual, I'm just looking down at my hand lost in thought. What did I do wrong? Do I keep hurting him?

My thoughts get interrupted my Kylie coming in and yelling "we're home!" We both look up to her, she looks between us and sadness fills her eyes. Jake gives her a small peck on the cheek before sitting with Shawn. She nods upstairs and I get up. "wait" I turn and see Shawn picking something out of his pocket. He tosses me my underwear that Caleb took. How'd he get this? I was about to ask but he seemed to busy on his phone so I just shook my head and went upstairs with Kylie following behind me.
