It's a faction of religious fanatics who worships a huge space artifact - the monolith. No one can say, that the monolith is real of not, but many believe, that the monolith can make your wish true. The zealots of this organisation is located in Limansk, Pripyat, the radar and CHAES. Warriors of Monolith is well equipped, well trained and have huge numbers of loyal worshippers. The radar location is very important for zealots. This location has a complex with the machine, called "the brain burner". This machine is generating a huge field of psychic emmiting, which can make you a zombie. But some people, who are lucky, can survive, but became a Monolith zealot. After stalker, called Strelok, turned off "the brain burner", many stalkers of different faction make their way to the center of the Zone, and Monolith numbers begins to decrease. Apparently, after "the brain burner" was turned off, some of the zealots started to remember their lives, but they were still brainwashed, we can hear that monologue, of one zealot who's praying.
