Chapter nine - Land Of Darkness

When Teacher woke up, he didn't expect the sight before him. The sky become dark, the clouds become red, and land was filled with strange purple crystals. He wasn't afraid of it though, the Zone's sky during an emission looked far more intimidating.

"This...is a land of darkness"

A land of darkness? Pretty fitting name for a place such as this. It really looked like Teacher has arrived in the end of the world, or maybe it's hell?

He saw a huge structure, which looked like a castle made of crystals. The bullhead of two fighters flew to the castle and started landing on the landing deck. Hazel turned off the engines and lead the Teacher outside of the vehicle. When he stepped out he was greeted by the sight of various people.

One of them is a tall middle-aged man with a slim build and slightly tanned skin. He has short black and gray hair as well as a thick mustache and eyebrows, and green eyes. He wears a grayish-blue overcoat with yellow linings, a yellow dress shirt, and a black necktie. His pants are the same color as his overcoat. His yellow-buttoned undercoat and fingerless gloves match his cordovan shoes, under which he wears yellow socks.

The second one is a pale male mutant with gold eyes and a brown ponytail braided to resemble a scorpion's tail. He wears a white sleeveless jacket with leather belts strapped to it, along with white pants. His jacket is left open, exposing his bare chest, which is crisscrossed with prominent scars. His arms are covered with purple bandages and leather vambraces. He also wears leather boots covering his entire shin with knee guards.

On each earlobe is a silver, ring-shaped earring, and near the top of his left ear is another matching earring. This mutant was shaking like he has a stroke.

The third one is a woman in the red dress. She wears lipstick and violet eyeshadow. She wears a dark-red, off-the-shoulders, v-neck mini dress with yellow designs. There is a blue feather-like accessory on her right hip, at the top of an open portion of her dress. The dress ends in an upside-down triangular tail in the back, ending just above the knees.

There is a baseball diamond-shaped keyhole on the dress' upper back at the same height as her chest. The sleeves end in a triangle shape, which are wrapped or tied around her middle finger, with the gold designs of the sleeve taking over at the wrists. Her fingernails are painted dark red. She wears black shorts underneath her dress, as well as a black choker on her neck. She has a gold loop earring with a black gem dangling from it on her right ear. She has dark, glass, high-heeled shoes and a jeweled anklet on her right leg.

On her upper back, in the keyhole of her dress, she has a black tattoo of what appears to be a pair of high heel shoes placed sole to sole, forming a heart shape inside.

But the most noticeable of them was a woman, which probably will appear in nightmares of anyone who would see her, but not Teacher. Her skin is a deathly pallor, with jet black sclerae in her eyes, and glowing crimson irises. She has a large bun with six offshoots wrapped together that also suspends several obsidian-colored ornaments.

She also wears a very long, short-sleeved black robe that obscures her feet and partially drags across the ground, with its distinctive feature being a curved high collar with dark red trim bordering the outer edge of a narrow window exposing her bust in a vertical ellipsis resembling an eye, and completed with a long shawl emblazoned with three interconnected, maroon-colored vertical elliptic sigils resembling a trio of overseeing eyes above a series of maroon-colored diamond emblems. She also wears a ring resembling a beetle on her right middle finger.

Hazel stepped forward and said:

"He is here, just like you wanted"

The nightmarish lady smirked and said:

"Perfect. Now, let's discuss our deal in the conference hall"

She said before turning around and going inside of the castle. Teacher noticed, that her moves was so smooth, it's like she isn't walking, but levitating above the floor, dragging her dress behind her. The shaky one laughed hysterically and followed her, the one in the red dress narrowed her eyes, but followed the dark lady inside. Soon, they were walking through the dark corridors, which was being lighted by candles and glowing purple crystals. They reached the big door, and after opening it they stepped inside the conference hall.

The room features a crystal table surrounded by six wooden chairs and one throne. A number of crystal formations surround the room with white candles on their tops, and behind the throne is a crystal table adorned with several white candles. Above the table is a chandelier made out of branches and crystals. The floor is made of square, reflective tiles.

The dark lady sit on her throne, while all of other people (including Teacher) sit on the wooden chairs.

"Good job, Hazel. You did not only bring him to me, but you did convince him to have audience with me. You deserve a reward"

The dark lady said. Hazel crossed his arms and said:

"Thank you, I'm honoured"

Now all attention was back on Teacher, who was silently sitting with his legs crossed.

"Let's begin our introductions"

Announced the dark lady.
