Tell me when you see me
Laughing and smiling and enjoying my life
When I make others laugh
Talking and giggling and joking with them
When they come to me like Icarus to sun
And they buzz around me with a shine in their eyes
Tell me what's that look on your face
'Cause I will admit that I look at you when this happens
each and every time to search for your emotions
And I still can't figure out if it is
Jealousy of my white which makes you red
or if you want me back as your blue
To chase away your black
You will never come to me, I know thisI understand you have an ego to maintain
You are so much like me
You can never have been so fake
It takes one to know one
As you wish you get my happiness
The glory of being perfect and respect
Which I will grant you freely
come and take it with that green smile of yours
I will close my eyes, taking in the solace you would give me
But I just have this little request to make that
I hope you will award me with an Oscar with your own hands
for the role, I play for everyone every day. . .
