Percy's POV

As I hear the footsteps of my mom run up the stairs, my vision clouds over. I keep trying to shake the blonde, hoping he wakes up, not even realizing the tears streaming down my face. "Please, J-Jason!" I yelled, quickly reaching for my phone. With blurred vision I type in the numbers 911 onto the dail pad and press call.

"911, what's your emergency?" The operator spoke in a calm tone. Me on the other hand, I was anything but calm. Tears rolling down my face I spoke frantically. "I-I need an ambulance!!" My voice kept cracking as I told her the situation, my eyes never leaving Jason.

His unconscious body made my heartache and it didn't help that I didn't know what to do. I just sat there, telling operator about Jason's contidion and she helped me stay calm.

Sirens soon came into earshot of the apartment, tears still rolling down my face. My head perked up, looking around. They were gonna take him, and make him better right? He'd go with and bam! all better. This'll be a memory to look back on, right? With all these thoughts rushing through my head, I didn't hear the paramedics enter my house.

I felt a pair of hands land on my shoulders, carefully prying me away from Jason's body. After that though, it was all a blur. All I remember is yelling for them to let me go, being escorted to the ambulance with Jason, and suddenly being placed into a waiting room as he was rushed into the ER. At some point in time, Mom showed up with Estelle and sat comforting me in the waiting room.

Five minutes after we arrived, a black haired girl came storming in. She was frantic to see her brother, that's when I recognised her voice. That was Thalia Grace, Jason's sister. As the secretary calmed her down, she had her sit down in the waiting room too. Thalia had the same pale skin tone, her hair was short, and she had a very punk look to her.

"Y-You're Jason's sister, right?" My voice was crackly, proof that I was in an emotional state. She looked at me, kinda stunned. "Uhm, yeah? And you are?" She asked, her electric blue eyes on me. "S-Sorry, I'm Percy Jac-" "You're Percy!? So you're the one my brother took out skating and slept over last night! He was texting me like crazy last night, saying how cut-" She quickly cut herself off. "Sorry, Jason should be the one who tells you..."

I was just quiet, looking downward. My face was burning hot. She stayed quiet too though. The only thing that could be heard was the TV and Mom talking quietly to Estelle. This quietness kept on for a while, maybe two hours? Until and secretary called through the glass. "Jason Grace is now accepting visitors." Thalia and I both stood up, I then sat back down. "You're his sister, you should go first."

She nodded and walked over to the glass, talking with the secretary until she was given a visitor badge and the door opened for her. I knew it was right to let his sister go first, but part of me wanted to see Jason immediately. I wanted to hold him and tell him everything is alright. That he'd be fine, even if he's not.

~Time Skip~

I look up, seeing as it's almost three in the afternoon. I've been sitting and waiting for almost five hours to be able to see Jason, but he's probably been talking about what happened with his mom. Mom and Estelle left about 2 hours ago so it was just me now. Soon the doors opened up, revealing Thalia. She handed the badge back to the secretary, she then walked over to me. "Jason's excited to see you." She said, jokingly winking. My face quickly heated up as I stood up. "T-Thanks..."

I walked over to the secretary, sighing softly. "Visitor for Jason Grace." I said, as she laughed softly. She handed me a badge and pushed a button that opened the door. As I walked in, I made my way to the room which I was told was Jason's. As I knocked on the door I opened it, seeing the Blonde. His head perked up, and seeing me made him smile. It kinda hurt to see him connected to the IV with the different tubes though.

Jason looked up at me. "Percy, thanks for calling..." He said softly, rubbing the back of his neck. I smiled, sitting in the chair next to the bed. "You don't need to thank me..." I said, smiling softly. "Did you find out what happened?" I asked, tilting my head slightly. Jason sighed and shook his head. "No, they're still doing tests because they can't figure out what it was..." He sighed again, looking downward. "But I'm sure it's not bad though." He said, his eyes meeting mine again.
