Talking about childhoods is something a lot of people consider nostalgic, most wish to go back in time and re-live - even if just for a day - those sweet, innocent years of their lives. Charlie enjoys remembering her childhood, no matter how odd it was; it always made her happy.

Things didn't go very well at the start, though. The little girl had been taken to Hogwarts by Severus Snape himself, claiming he had found a child left for dead, with a strange bite on her right arm. Typically, he wouldn't have aided her, but upon discovering those bite marks, he feared the worst: werewolf bites.

Unfortunately, the worst became a reality. It was tough dealing with a werewolf child, the potion to aid her was incredibly expensive, and it was heartbreaking to watch the baby have to drink such a repulsive liquid. Nevertheless, she did and grew accustomed to the horrible taste.

Charlie grew to be a sweet child with big red eyes, always having a massive grin on her face. She was a very energetic girl and more often than not, she would be found petting some magical creature she would find in the Forbidden Forest. Ah, yes, that's right! The little girl grew up in Hogwarts, for the people who raised her resided in the magnificent castle.

During school periods, the child was mostly kept around Hagrid, aiding him with his magical creatures (she even wore a child's version of his clothes). Still, she could also be found with Dumbledore or in Snape's office colouring books with drawings. The professors, however, decided it would be good for the child to have friends around her age, which resulted in dropping the child at the Malfoy Manor now and then. Most of the professors were confused as to why the Malfoy's were chosen; they weren't very fond of the family.

The years passed in a flash, and before she knew it, Charlie received her letter from Hogwarts. She had been staying with McGonagall for a couple of weeks at the woman's house in Hogsmeade, where she used to live before her husband passed away. Charlie remembers that day like it was yesterday.

"Mom, look! I got my letter!" a young, twelve-year-old Charlie jumped in excitement as she held her precious letter, showing it to a thrilled McGonagall.

"That is wonderful news, my dear, are you ready to go buy your supplies?" McGonagall inquired with a smile, reaching for the child's hand.

In Diagon Alley, Charlie found everything she needed. Hagrid accompanied her through the crowd as he held all of her books in one arm, while his other hand held a bag with her robes. Charlie looked at all the stores with excitement, heart thumping in her chest as she reached the famous Ollivanders wand shop.

"It's an essential shop, Charlie, go in, go in!" Hagrid smiled warmly as he stood outside, waiting.

The young girl walked into the shop and was immediately greeted by a white-haired man. His eyebrows knitted together in wonder, but his expression was quickly replaced by what seemed to be fear, followed by worry.

'What a strange man,' thought Charlie to herself.

"You are Miss Lupus, correct?" The man asked as he took a few steps forward behind the counter. Charlie nodded with a smile.

"Yes. How do you know my name, sir?" inquired the confused child.

"Ah, you see, I know everyone who comes in here, Miss Lupus. I remember every face, every wand, every story." Mr Ollivander spoke kindly, entering a small, tight corridor as he searched for a particular box. "You, my dear, are destined for great things, and the perfect wand will aid you in that."

"Really? Do you know if I'll become a Magizoologist?" Charlie inquired with big, curious eyes. Mr Ollivander emerged from the corridor and looked at the child with a small laugh.
