,,Guys I have to tell you something." Harry sighs. The event with Draco just kissing him out of nowhere made Harry realize he was being a quiet victim. He wasn't going to say anything about Draco, no. He was going to tell them about Cedric.
,,We're here to listen, Harry." Hermione said as she sat down next to Ron.
Harry exhaled sharply. He was scared of telling them, but he had to.
They deserved to know the truth.
,,Do you remember the time I got into the infirmary?"
,,Which one, mate?" Ron chuckled and so did Harry.
,,Few days before Cedric got crucioed."
,,Oh yeah, what about it? You never told us what happened."
,,Well I'm about to, if only you let me speak." Harry said and Ron nodded.
,,Before I got into the infirmary. I went to confront Cedric. He punched Draco into the face for stealing his lover. Draco was single back then and so was Cedric. I was completely oblivious, naïve." Harry sighed and waited for a moment before continuing.
,,I asked him what's wrong with him. Draco was single and it didn't click. Cedric confessed, but since I was madly in love with Draco I couldn't return the feelings. I never would have guessed Cedric would be violent. He um.. I think you know by now."
Hermione clasped a hand over her mouth.
,,I was bleeding, he um, damaged my insides kind of.. I got to the infirmary on my own. So yeah..." Harry looked down, ashamed.
Hermione was quick to embrace Harry and Ron hugged him as well. The silence was pleasant. They all were deep in thought.
,,Harry. We're here for you. Always."
,,Yeah mate, we'll always be here."
,,Thank you guys. You truly are my best friends."
,,Is that truly all you wanted to tell us?" Hermione quizzed, carefully.
,,Yes, yes it is." Harry mumbled, playing with the hem of his shirt.
,,Alright mate. We'll do everything to protect you from asses like Cedric, yeah?" Ron smiled at his best friend.
,,Yeah." Harry smiled at the duo, oh how much he loved those two. If it weren't for them, he wouldn't be alive right now.
