Chapter 1 : Kerem's suspicion

Since last night, Kerem can't sleep and the same thoughts are haunting him again and again. So he looks at the clock and sees it is almost 6 am. He thinks that his alarm clock is about to ring.
His thoughts are now set on that word "ring". Why does he always come back there? Why can't he think about anything else than the ring that Omer gave to Ayse at that hut?
He is going to lose his mind with this fixation. Omer wanted to get married to Ayse from their childhood. They were 6 years old when he wanted to give his mother's ring to her. How could he know her for so long and have waited they have just divorced to ask for her hand?

He remembers Ayse and her joy to receive this beautiful high-end jewelry but he was internally delighted that she forgot this particular childhood memory of her walking down the aisle with Omer. If she was in love with him at that time, she would have recalled all details and even she would still dream about it. He smirked because Ayse had the same reaction when he listens to Ceyda's anecdote about their high school moments and they went to prom dance together. A souvenir that he had totally erased from his memory.

Every detail about this man put Kerem in angry mode and the fact he was always around his Ayse was the most frustrating. He had to make efforts to memorize she was his ex-wife now. Every time he was looking at her, this Omer was at 3 meters from her. The fact he recently helped her with the website on her project and she was happy at his side, makes Kerem vomit.
Every time he had to call Ceyda to cover his frustration, his despair because he could not stand to see men around Ayse. But it was too late the wolf was in the sheepfold, he had to find a parry and Ceyda was the best pawn he had in his handle.

He knew that it was not the smartest move he had made and everything could fall down on him. But he had no choice for waking up his Ayse and help her to see his true value. Kerem wants to raise awareness on their happiness, on their love but he hadn't planned that this Omer was a tough and great guy. He would have been easier if he was a douchebag but he was made from the same temper as himself. so he could understand that she could hesitate and he did not like that thought.

Kerem arrives at the company a bit later than usual because he did not want to be the talk of the company as the last time. He was totally shivering of disgust when he remembers arriving with Ceyda at his arm in the company. So this time, he preferred coming after her so she won't make a scene and embarrass him in front of everyone.

As usual, he decides to pass via Ayse's office because first, it is the simplest and fastest way to get to his office. Secondly, he needs to see her to highlight his mood and to start the day on a good note. Every time he could sneak a look and see her laughing, touching her beautiful hair, was the little thing in life that put him in heaven.

This time, she was already there and she was talking with someone with so much passion. She was moving her hands in the air and she was like in trance, so focused on her speech. He starts to recognize the figure from afar but he could not believe he could be there at her desk and in his company.
More and more he approaches her office, more the confirmation is inevitable, it is Omer. Even if he was on another chair, he was so close at just one meter from her. He started to ask himself why he did not give orders to the security to escort him out of the company or to not let him enter from the start. But even if the replies were not pleasant, he could not take the risk to give satisfaction to Ayse but mainly to Omer.
It would be the ultimate proof for others that he still wants to be part of her life and controls everything. Even if it itched his whole soul to speak up, he could not do it yet.

Ayse was still speaking to Omer about the website and what she wanted to put a light on for Mother's day that she did not see Kerem arriving. She hasn't noticed this not on purpose behavior has bothered him so much that he started to flare up on all employees of Modamu. She has just heard him yelled at Feyza. And two seconds later, she sees Feyza in front of her and she starts to remind her that she has to give another presentation tomorrow about her new design set.

Ayse is surprised because at the last meeting they gave her one week to do all the marketing, not 3 days. But she understood what happened when she saw Kerem and Ceyda together in Kerem's office. They want to get rid of her again and to prove she is incapable of that responsibility. So she swears that she will do the impossible and she will succeed, no matter the time she will need to finish her work.
She looks at her right and she sees him. She thinks that she was lucky to have Omer at her side. He was nice and comprehensive with her, he was helping her and not waiting for anything in return except for her trust and her friendship. She could not believe he immediately accepted to help her and work inside Modamu's office. Unfortunately, the design had become the property of Modamu, because of the secrecy clause on her contract she could not work outside her office. She would have preferred the peace of the atelier but she needs all the information that was available at the office.
Omer was really skilled in website design and had some great ideas, that she could easily integrate into her business plan. It was easy to talk to him and exchange ideas. And immediately she starts to see her and Kerem in his office doing the same and she breathes because she had a weight on her heart with this thought.
Then she decides that she will have another time to think about it because of the ultimatum they gave her so she has to finish everything before 4 pm tomorrow.

Omer and Ayse were still working non stop about the new application they were putting in place. It was already 8 hours straight and they were still here together. He could not believe what his eyes pointed out, they did not leave this desk and there was no animosity. His idea did not work out. He imagined that Omer would revolt to stay all day with Ayse to work at his company on this project and that the stress plus the tension would lead to some screams. That is why he built his plan and he easily convinced Ceyda to advance the meeting for tomorrow afternoon.
Kerem remembers he was the one near Ayse and they were unstoppable together because each of them had great ideas for rising the company to the top.

This weird behavior addition to this ring matter started to lead a suspicious Kerem. He did not make an investigation on that guy and his guts were telling him that he should do so. Something was off with Omer, he could not put a finger on it yet but he was too white to be true. And the fact he was around Ayse for several days was not making him relieved. He was sure that he needs to do some background check because firstly she was one of his employees and the only thing he did not want was another psycho around them.

So Kerem calls his friend Murat who is a detective to get more details on this Omer, but during the phone conversation, he could not start right away because Murat needed his last name. Kerem was so focused that he even forgot to write down his name, so he asks a favor from the security to come to see Omer because of a parking issue. It was the easiest way to get the name he missed for his personal research.

He was sure he will find something on Omer and he will confront Ayse that he is not the guy she deserved and that she could trust.
