Chapter 4

We both stare at her, even Courtney cause she didn't know that. "She's pregnant?? Who is the dad?" Stacey asks.

Miss Smith leans closer "It's not David if that's who you think. That's why they broke up. As who the father is, it's some Japanese model she meet."

We look at each other in shocked at what has been told. "Thank you Miss Smith, have a good event and I think this year will be better than last year." I smile and thank her and we walked away to find mom and dad.

We made our way towards and told them what we just found out. And mom was not happy.

"That whore, I am so mad." she says through clench teeth.

"Mom not the time for this, ok? We are going to find him, so make sure nothing happens and we'll try to get him back here before they announce anything." Stacey tells her and leads me out there door to go find him.

We get in the hallway and think where they would go to talk. Just then we see Kelly come out a door that goes to a stairwell, we hurry towards her. She looks up and moves out the way.

"We know everything Kelly." Stacey tell her with a disappointed look.

We stepped inside the stairwell and see David crying on the steps, we walk over to him and hug him. All we can do is comfort him at the moment till he can talk. After about several minutes he finally calms down enough to talk.

"I can't believe that happened and everything, it hurts so much. But also I can move on now knowing the truth." he tells us looking up.

"Yeah? And yes we know everything her mom told us. But now you know why it ended." I tell him helping Stacey whipping his tears.

He nods and finally stops crying, we help him up and lead the way back to the event. Stacey went a head and grab him a drink while me and him just walk through the door. The family comes over making sure he's ok and he takes the drink from our sister and drinks it slowly. He reassures them he'll be ok and we all take our seats. As the events starts Miss Smith stands up and welcomes everyone and goes on about the event and money raised from last year and this year.

While she was in the middle of her speech about how much was raised, which was a impressive $20 million. Compared to last year which was only $14 million. The lights and power to the ballroom went off causing people to panic. Except for mom and us we got up looking around, next thing we know the doors bust open and 5 masked people come through the door with guns. They honestly stand out since they are in all black with cargo pants and boots on.

They start yelling for everyone to get on the ground, while everyone was doing that. Mom, David, Stacey, and I crawled towards them without them noticing. Mom stands up behind what presume is the leader tapping him on the shoulder and punching him, which caused him to drop the gun. As soon as the other reacted to what happened, Stacey stood up grabbing the gun from one of them and throwing them on the ground breaking their arm.

I kicked the back of the knee of my person sending them down then grabbing their gun and knocking them out with it. David grabbed the last two and slammed them into each other giving me and Stacey time to snatch the guns away. While mom kept the leader pinned down.

"Someone call 911" mom yelled.

Just when she was about to get a response the cops and SWAT came through the door.

"Perfect timing guys" We tell them, and got off them so the SWAT team can arrest them and everything.

We adjust our clothes and hair. And over to dad and the little ones. While the cops make sure everyone is ok, and while the cops were checking on everyone. Miss Smith screams.
