Hidden Eyes

Chapter 10

Let's go Tony, I'm ready to finish this." Kelly tells him as she pile all the stuff on the table into a barrel.

Nodding his head he went and got into the truck, to get it started as she finished what she was doing. I quickly told mom that she's burning all the documents I sent photos of to her, and that I was with the second bomb. Expecting mom to be upset that I was with the bomb, she told me to stay with it and that she'll have another team take care of the first bomb. And that she will get to the warehouse to make sure everything is clear. So apparently she's here in London, but then again this is a major thing and it was her assignment. Just then Kelly climbs into the truck and it started moving, I grabbed onto the bomb so I don't fall. Yes I made sure I didn't touch anything I shouldn't touch.

I can't see anything really cause of the tarp but I can tell when we went outside cause of how the temperature changed. My phone started going off and it was my mom calling me.

"Yes mom? I'm a little busy trying not to fall off, plus it be like a couple hours apparently till we reach where we are going." I tell her as the truck started speeding up.

"I know sweetheart, but we do have eyes on the truck and they are keeping an eye on you. Also the other team is getting ready to be at the bomb that's outside of the palace." she tells me.

"That's good to know, but what all did you found out from what I sent you?" I tell her and holding on tight to the metal bar as we hit a bump.

She explains to me about what they planned to use them for and how it was to be paid for 40 million euros. But we apparently going to let that happen, and the bombs were to be used to get the money. Plus it looked like they would use it the bombs if they got paid or not. So we can't take the chance of that happening. Mom kept talking to me as the truck continued down the highway, which is apparently where I'm at according to her. She said she made it to the warehouse but it burning down and the people that were guarding it her team took them down. What felt like forever, the truck started slowing down, mom told me we reached a town called Milton Keynes.

The truck kept driving but it finally stopped, I got off the phone with my mom since she got where exactly I am. Tony got out and started unhooking the trailer and got back in the truck to move it. I peeked out and see the truck is being moved to the side and I can take the chance to move before they come back to the trailer. I slide out and went under the trailer as they took the tarp off the bomb, then I heard Kelly started arming it. Watching their feet to see where they were, both of them were on one side of it. So I slipped out the other side and leaned against the truck, they were talking about how they were going to announce what they are doing here at some TV station. As they made their way to the truck, I pulled out my phone and called my mom to tell her what's happening. She put me on the phone with someone who can help me disarm the bomb till they can dispose of it.

As I sat my phone down as he started walking me through the process of disarming it. It was complicated cause there was wires that needed to be cut, circuits that needed to be pulled out and everything. Taking about 20 minutes I was able to disarm just in time as a team from our agency came to take care of the bomb. Thanking them I headed for the TV station that was here cause that was where they were heading. Then it hit me, Johnny told me he lives here! He was telling me about it cause the building where the bomb was at, was their city center or mall. He worked around here, just not sure where it was. But I'll worry about that after I get to news station and deal with them. Making my way towards the station after looking it up online, I see the truck they were driving just down the road from it.

I make my way into the station, but the main doors were locked. But I could see someone hiding behind the desk scared, knocking on the window softly. The lady crawled over to the door unlocking it for me.
