the next few months consisted of total hell. me and hoseok would argue nonstop and do shit to annoy each other. shoulder checking each other and all that jazz. there was also the never ending line of girls hoseok would bring home.
as i was out shopping, my dad was calling me.
"hello?" i answered.
"hey sweets, what are you doing?"
"i'm out at the mall right now? why?"
"well buy yourself a beautiful dress, we're going to a ball tonight. i have a feeling turner and his men will be there tonight, so we need to be ready for anything."
i sighed, "fine."
"hoseok is already aware, his dad already told him. so hurry and up and get a dress. it starts at 8:30."
i said okay and i hung up the phone. i turned and looked around for a store to get a dress from. i walked in a store i, eventually, found.
i began to look around for dresses, i sighed as the dresses i looked at didn't satisfy me. until i saw the red dress. that long red dress.
i took it off the hanger and brought it to the dressing room to try on. i walked out and looked at myself in the mirror, the dress fit my body perfectly. it defined my curves and it showed just enough cleavage.
i sighed, "i don't know." i mumbled to myself.
"i think it looks perfect on you," a voice surprised me. i whipped my head around to see a woman standing against the wall.
"you're hoseok's wife aren't you?" she asked. i rolled my eyes, "it's complicated."
i recognized her now, she was one of the girls he brought around. "you're going to the ball tonight huh?" she asked.
i nodded, "how do you know about that?"
"because my family is going to be there." she chuckled. i smiled, "don't you think hoseok will have a problem with you being there?" i asked.
"i could care less about hoseok being there," she laughed. "i only had sex with him because i was desperate for dick. i thought you would have more of a problem with me no?"
i laughed, "my marriage with hoseok is only for business. we are married by paper not because we actually have something for each other."
she pursed her lips, "well i say that dress. it'll look good."
i nodded, "thank you. i'm aaliyah."
"i'm angie." she smiled. she gave me a small wave before she walked off.
i took off the dress and paid for it, i felt my phone ringing in my pocket. i rolled my eyes once i saw it was hoseok.
"what do you want?" i questioned.
"is that any way to speak to your husband?" he laughed. "hurry up and get home. we need to get ready for that party."
"we have hours to get ready." i scoffed.
"not you. women take forever to get ready," he sighed. "so hurry up."
"fuck off." i hung up the phone. the lady behind the counter gave me my credit card back. i smiled and walked out of the store.
"ms. montana," a low voice spoke. "or should i say mrs. jung now?"
it was rider turner. johnny turner's son.
"always a pleasure to see you rider." i rolled my eyes.
"so what's this whole marrying jung hoseok thing huh? i thought you were saving yourself for me." he smirked.
i laughed, "the nerve to think i would ever save myself for you. you know the beef between your dad and mine."
"i know, a shame isn't it? i wonder what's gonna happen tonight at the ball." he said sarcastically.
"a lot of shit that's for sure." i sighed.
"save me a dance why don't you? make sure your husband won't mind it either." he smirked and walked off.
let's bring three guns, just in case.
