"wow that was good." i said as i finished off my food.

hoseok nodded his head in agreement, "you ready to go now?"

i nodded my head. he pulled out his wallet, leaving money on the table for our food.

we walked out of the restaurant on the beach, sitting on huge rocks that laid on the sand. we had a perfect view of the sunset, the orange and pink reflecting on the ocean water.

"do you always come here at this time?" i asked. he nodded his head, "most of the time. it helps me clear my mind, enjoy life. seeing this makes me feel real, like i'm not a criminal."

i pursed my lips, i hugged my knees to my chest as i watched the waves crash onto the sand, the wind blowing in my hair. i sighed, this was kind of relaxing.

hoseok was right, it did make me feel real, like i didn't commit crimes 24/7.

"have you brought other people here? like girls you hooked up with?" i asked.

he rubbed his lips together, "no. no one knows about my place. just you."

why just me?

"not even friends?" i asked.

"i don't have many friends. there are a few guys that i would consider friends, but they work for my dad." he sighed.

"tell me about them." i said.

"well there's 5 of them. they're crazy as hell, chaotic, great guys. honestly couldn't ask for better friends," he chuckled a little. "how about you, any friends?"

"besides yoongi, who is my best friend, i don't think so. just acquaintances is all," i shrugged. "when you're protecting your life all the time, i don't really think there's time for friends."

he smiled, then he looked down at his knees, licking his lips before speaking, "w-we're friends..right?" he asked.

my mouth gaped open slowly, why was the jung hoseok asking me this question? what happened to the old hoseok that hated the idea of getting married to me as much as i did?

"yeah...we're friends." i smiled back. what did i just say?!

"well isn't this a swell surprise?" a woman's voice snickered.

me and hoseok turned ourselves around to see heather standing there, arms crossed and smirking. "what are you two doing here? i thought you hated each other's souls?" she laughed.

"fuck off heather." hoseok scoffed. "that isn't what you said that one time, right mr. jung?" she smiled.

my blood boiled at her comment, why did that make me angry?

"hoseok let's go." i muttered. he nodded his head, we stood up from the rocks, walking past heather.

"um, where do you think you're going?" she grabbed onto my arm. my instincts kicked in immediately, but i stopped myself from punching her in the face.

"wow you sure got a shiner on your face heather, i wonder who did that," i laughed. "you wouldn't want me to hit you again would you?"

she glared at me, "you're in for a rude awakening, aaliyah montana."

she was so pathetic i couldn't help but laugh right in her face, "you think i'm playing?" she asked.

i smiled and snatched my arm away from her grip, "save the bitchiness for one of your flings."

hoseok grabbed onto my arm, pulling me away from her, "you wanna know something?" she asked.

i sighed and looked at her, "what?"

"remember when we were fighting and you were pulling my hair?" she laughed. i rolled my eyes feeing the anger building.

"i never got to tell you that night, but, i liked it better when hoseok pulled my hair." she smirked.

and that's when i snapped, "aaliyah-" hoseok started.

i ended up punching her in the mouth, she gasped and touched her face. i pulled the gun, that i knew hoseok had, out from under his shirt, grabbing onto heather and pushing the gun against her throat.

"you're lucky i don't kill you right now." i said. "right, you wouldn't wanna cause more trouble now would you?" she said.

"let this be a fucking warning heather, come near me, or hoseok, or anyone else, and i will kill you, no hesitation. and i don't care if it will cause more trouble. don't fuck with me." i spat harshly.

she gulped hard as the blood dropped from her lip, she stared into my eyes, seeing how serious i was.

"aaliyah-" hoseok grabbed onto my arm. i pushed him away lightly as i let go of heather. i pushed the gun to his chest, stomping away, not even bothering to look him in the eye.

i heard hoseok trailing behind me as i kept walking, he called the driver and we waited for him to come, the drive home was silent.
