i woke up with a pounding headache, my body was sore and the bruises began to form everywhere on my body. i looked and felt like i was just in a car wreck.

i don't really remember anything from last night either, just hoseok stitching up my shoulder.

knock, knock.

aish, even a simple knock felt like a hammer to the head. "come in." i said groggily. and there was hoseok, with a glass in his hand.

"good morning." he smirked. i rolled my eyes, "what's in the cup?"

"a hangover drink." he said. he handed me the glass that had a thick green liquid inside it. i made a face before putting the glass to my lips. i almost puked at the taste.

hoseok sighed and tucked his hands into his pockets, "how do you feel?" i chuckled, "like a bus hit me. i'm surprised you're not as beat as me."

he laughed, "is my dad and everyone else okay?" i asked. "yeah. they came to check on you earlier to see how you were doing, but they didn't stay long since you were still asleep."

"what time is it?"

"12:15, you slept in."

"aren't you supposed to be at work?"

"everyone took the day off. do you think i wanna work after all the stuff that happened last night?" he laughed.

i smiled. i found his behavior quite, odd. he hasn't made me annoyed for one second, no smart ass remarks, no nothing. it confused me in fact.

"you want breakfast? jenna is downstairs-"

"jenna is here?" i asked. hoseok nodded his head. i missed jenna terribly. even though she worked for me and my family, she was a great friend to me, she always gave the best advice too.

i stood up from bed, groaning as the pain rushed over. hoseok rushed over quickly, grabbing my arm to help me walk.

we made our way to the kitchen, where jenna was making breakfast, putting the food on plates. "jenna." i smiled. she turned her body around and smiled brightly at me, "hello ms. aaliyah,"

she set two plates of food down on the island in the kitchen, "breakfast is done." she smiled. she gave me a hug before walking towards the door, "you're leaving already?" i asked.

"i wish i could stay, ms. aaliyah. but the house is unattended and your dad has been paranoid ever since last night."

i chuckled, "okay then. thank you so much jenna."

she smiled and nodded, grabbing her coat and walking out the door. me and hoseok sat down next to each other, i grabbed my fork and began to eat.

"i missed her cooking." i said as i bit into a piece of bacon.

a knock cut the silence between me and hoseok. we looked at each other, "is anyone else supposed to stop by?" i asked. he shook his head, "you know what to do." i nodded and got up, limping my way over to where the closest gun was hidden. i grabbed it and went to the door, hoseok following behind me.

the door continued to knock, "i'm opening the door." i said. "what? no way!" hoseok said.

i furrowed my eyebrows, "why not?"

"because! you don't know who is behind that door."

i scoffed, "no aaliyah-"

i grabbed onto the door handle and opened the door, pushing hoseok behind the door quickly, holding my hand against his shoulder, along with the gun. i gulped when i saw rider leaning against the doorway.

"hey." he smirked. "why are you here rider? you have some fucking nerve coming to my house."

he laughed, "calm down aaliyah. i'm here to talk business."

"business? rider turner wants to talk business with me? bullshit."

"it's not bullshit. you need to do a little favor for turner enterprises."

"a favor?"

hoseok's pov

her palm against my shoulder was driving me nuts, and the fact that the hardness of the gun was hurting my shoulder was making it worse.

"a favor?" she asked.

"yeah, a favor."

her eyes glanced at me as rider stood in front of her, "what is it?"

"i'm willing to make a truce, for my dad, for his company."

she laughed, "a truce? you can't be serious rider."

"just listen to me. i discussed this with my dad already. we're willing to leave jung corporations and the montana business alone."

she smiled, "okay good. business discussion is over now."

"hold on," he stopped her from closing the door. "in order for all this to go down, turner enterprises is gonna need something in return."

"oh yeah what's that?" she asked.

"you have to divorce hoseok and marry me."
