Ara

That face was so clear in my mind. When he showed up again I had no doubt that it was Desmond, those eyes molten lava, reminded me of the king it had me wondering if Desmond was somehow related. He had the same color hair as the queen; black as the night.  Desmond came forward with a creepy smile on his face, his fangs showing and that sent a shiver down my spine.

"Ara,"He drew out the name testing it on his tongue. He bowed low, "If I'm not mistaken you're are Andrew's slave."  My mouth fell open in shock and disgust.  "Excuse me I got that wrong, rather you were his slave now your more like his fiancé."  I was even more disgusted now.

"You're wrong," I said hoping my voice didn't sound too shaky.  His eyebrows went up looking like he doubted me.

"Still fighting it are we?" He said still not believing me.

"You're wrong because I will never marry Andrew, I didn't want this life in the first place."  He laughed, running to my side.

"Honey you can't escape what's already set in stone. In fact it was set in stone before you were born." I gasped what was he talking about something or someone knew me before I was born.  I thought back to all that time ago when I was in my back yard in my pool at midnight. What if Hunter or Andrew or whoever wasn't spying on me and This person in front of me was. My eyes widened in fear.

"Yes my dear," Desmond laughed. "I was spying on you. I told Hunter about you since then he's been obsessed with you and would have ended your life but Andrew had to step in."

"Who are you?" I asked skeptically.   He looked at me, took a step closer. I backed up my back hitting the wall.

"I thought you would have guessed by now. you seem like such an intelligent girl. " He leaned down so that his lips were at my ear. "Tell Andrew that I'm coming back."  What was he talking about hopefully I'm not going back  Hopefully I am dead.   "Not even close Ara,"

"Who are you?" I asked again.

"No, no, no honey I have to keep some secrets.  God only knows that you have yours."

"Goodbye my queen." Fast as lightning I felt pressure on my stomach. Looking down I noticed he had stabbed me.  My knees gave out and I fell to the floor. Now I had to be dead. Desmond crouched down so he came eye to eye with me.

"You're very much alive."

It took me a while to come back to consciousness. My eyes slowly opened and there in front of me was one angry vampire.

"I'm sorry," Was all I could say before He started yelling.

"Ara you're the most idiotic person I've ever met. Do you know how much of an idiot that makes me feel like for trusting you...."  I ignored this asking my own question like he had never started speaking.

"Who's Desmond?"

He stopped in the middle of his speech, staring at me, no more like glared at me. "Who," He asked.

"Desmond, D-E-S-M-O-N-D." I spelled it out for him in case he was to much of an idiot to get it.

"I know how to spell Ara." I raised my eyebrows at this, testing him. "Why do you want to know?"   I shrugged my shoulders.

"No reason, he just told me to tell you that he was coming back, I don't know what for so don't ask me I'm just the messenger."  He ignored that.

"Do you remember anything that happened?" He questioned, furrowed eyebrows and all. My own eyebrows furrowed.

"What are you talking about? I just told you that a person that Might be a psychotic maniac is coming back, but that I've got no idea who he is."
