Wei WuXian had been looking forward to this day for a long time. He wanted to be pampered by Lan Zhan, wanted to spoil him, get flowers and enjoy gentle kisses.
It was Valentine's Day.
Wei Ying was a romantic type of person, but unfortunately not Lan WangJi.
Actually, the younger one always complained about getting up early in Gusu, but today he literally jumped out of bed.
"Haaah! Lan Zhan, Lan Zhan, Lan Zhan!", Wei WuXian was totally excited.
"Hm ... Wei Ying ...?" Lan Zhan rubbed his eyes with his fingertips.
Did he dream? Wei Ying usually slept so long and it took him hours to lure him out of bed and now he was sitting on him and was wide awake.
"Why are you awake?"
"You know what day is today, don't you?"
"February 14th"
"Eh?", Wei WuXian tilted his head. Maybe he was just playing a trick on him and he was about to have flowers in the kitchen.
The younger one jumped off.
Lan WangJi raised an eyebrow slightly.
Why was he acting so strange? Did he forget his birthday? No, Wei Ying's birthday was in October, so it couldn't be.
What should be so special on February 14th?

"Did he forget?" Wei WuXian muttered when he found nothing. He was a little disappointed.
But he wanted so much to have a romantic day for two.
Well, if not with Lan Zhan, he would help his brother a little with Lan Xichen.

Jiang Cheng didn't care much about romance and what he called "cheesy stuff". But Xichen was more attached than expected and actually wanted to do something with the one he loved so much.

Dear Lan Xichen,
Today is Valentine's Day and since my brother already has a relationship, I'm pretty much alone today. If you find time, you might want to come to me in the evening. I would be glad. -Jiang Cheng.

He put the letter in an envelope, wrote the name on it, and added a white rose.

Lan Xichens looked more like that:

Dear Wei Ying,
it is now about a year in which we spend our lives together. I can't say much more than how much I love and appreciate you. I am very happy to have you by my side.
I love you.
-Lan Zhan.

He also put the letter in an envelope, wrote the name on it and added 5 red roses.
Both quickly unloaded the letters and roses and disappeared inconspicuously so that nobody noticed.

"Oh a letter and ... a rose ...?", The clan leader picked up the items and read the letter. He smiled. Of course he would come! He would never have expected something so cute from Jiang Cheng.
He giggled.

He knocked gently on the younger man's door.
"Wei WuXian how many times do I have to tell you ?! I will definitely not ask Lan Xichen for a ... date ...!", Jiang Chebg hesitated when he looked into the friendly eyes.
"A-Ah Clan Leader Lan, is there anything?" He tried to appear calm.
He was simply given the letter in his hands.
So that's what happens when you entrust your feelings to Wei WuXian.
So that it doesn't get too embarrassing, he let the older man enter.
"The letter was literally cute," XiChen smiled.
"You know. Since it's Valentine's Day, I'm going to reveal my feelings towards you now. I'm in love with you," he explained.
Jiang Cheng's heart was beating so fast, his cheeks turned red, but he could whisper
"I love you too".
Cheng didn't hold back himself now either and just kissed the older one quickly.
Both enjoyed it.
"Will... will you be my boyfriend?", Lan XiChen asked between kisses.
"Yes I'll"
Wei WuXian triumphed when he looked through the window as his brother and the clan leader shared a gentle kiss. But somehow he got sad too, Lan Zhan hadn't prepared anything for him. So he shuffled home. But what was that? A letter and a bouquet of roses? He took both and read the letter in peace. Lan Zhan hadn't forgotten him. He quickly jumped up and into the arms of his husband, who didn't know what was going on.
"You didn't forget it!"
"What do you mean?" Lan WangJi's hands rested on the other's hip.
"Well Valentine's Day!"
"Ah ahm", Ah yes, right, so this is why his brother had given him the letter and the roses.
"Hm. Of course not", he still didn't quite know what Valentine's Day was all about, but still he kissed Wei Ying gently.
