Chapter 25: Adoption

Of course, Lan Yuan was always Lan WangJi's and Wei WuXian's son, but it was never official.
Wei Ying wanted to change this because he was worried that the youngster would move away from them too quickly, that because his foster parents are now having their own child, he does not feel like he atill belongs to them and their family. He found him reading a book.
"SizHui", the boy heard a voice from the door.

Lan WangJi made a head movement suggesting that he should come with him. So he did.
The elder took him to Wei Ying.
"Ah? Senior Wei?"
"Oh A-Yuan hihi! Please take a seat". Lan Yuan gladly accepted the offer and joined Wei Ying.
"Ah, is there something important?" A-Yuan asked.
"Mhn!", The gray-eyed nodded eagerly "You know, the body that now belongs to me, was cruelly done including the organs that are needed to carry a child and well I'm pregnant now hehe."
It was a bit of information for the 17 year old, but after a few minutes he was happy because it meant he was going to have a little sibling and congratulated the couple.
"A-Yuan?"

"Do you feel like you belong to this family?"
"Yes of course, I wouldn't have any other family. I am always aware that you are not my biological parents, but I still feel safe with you around.", he smiled.
"Well I've been thinking and thought it might be nice for you if we officially accept you into the family and officially adopt you hihi!".
Lan SizHui's eyes shone.
Would he finally officially belong to a family after all these years?

The older one layed his arms around his love and rubbed his head against his shoulder.
"Don't be mad Wei Ying", he had no emotion his voice but Wei Ying knew he whined.
The younger one giggled and pated Lan Zhan's head.
"It's okay, it's okay", he started laughing as WangJi just started to carry him out of nowhere.
