Hey there guys! I know it's been awhile since I've written something and I know you want to read the story, but I wanted to share how this story came to be.
So me and my friends, @FlameCreator and @HydraPotter all wrote stories for something called the Young Authors Competition. It was through our school board.
Basically, you submit a short story, either a short story, a poem, a play or a nonfiction writing piece. We all chose (as you can probably guess) a short story, but Flame wrote a poem too. They had to be a maximum of 3000 words BTW.
We all spent lots of time writing our stories, but when it was time to hand them in, we found our we misread the guidelines. Like I said, we each wrote a short story...
But we could only submit one.
Our teacher said she got other teachers to read our stories anonymously, and Flame's story was the winner. Congrats again Flame!
Since my story wasn't submitted, I decided to share it with some of my favourite people.
