Mark Above
I know that the boys speech is spelt wrong. I am using it to display their speech patterns.
Brandon's POV
I close the apartment door gently, trying to avoid waking up the boys with the sound of my crutches, before I can prepare breakfast. I open up the fridge, trying to block out any thoughts of the very beautiful man who happens to be my neighbor, and just stare... how could I forget that we haven't gone to the store yet?
I take a look at the ingredients in my fridge, bread, lettuce, and some leftover cheese and chicken from the people who were renting my apartment. What can I make the boys? A sandwich will have to do, they don't really know the difference between lunch and breakfast food yet? Right?
I throw together the sandwiches, before I return slowly crunching to Mark and Thomas' room to wake them up for the day. They are laying there all twisted about but with the most peaceful expression on there faces. I hope they can always be that happy, I will always protect them.
I softly brush the hair away from Mark's forehead when I softly whisper "Boys it's time to enjoy the day." They soft grumble in return. I repeat myself a little louder, and they finally start to wake up. God there so cute.
"Good morwing", they excitedly say.
I return the sentiment and then ask, "Buddies can you guys get yourself dressed for the day?" They happily shake their heads yes. Perfect, they can get dressed, while I make a bottle for Ryder. I pick out their outfits for the day, two matching flannels, two pairs of jeans, along with two sets of toy story socks, and their underpants.
Once I finish choosing their outfits, I remind them to meet me in the kitchen when they are done getting dressed. I return to the kitchen with one goal and mind and that's to make Ryder's bottle. I pour the formula into the bottle, mix it and then heat it up. This was much harder then you would expect trying to juggle everything one handed, the other on my crutch. God, never once in my life did I think I would get to take care of these three little boys, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
Once the bottle has cooled a little, I slowly walk into Ryder's nursery and see him staring at me with those huge lovable eyes while smiling. "Hey buddy ready for breakfast?". He claps his hands together seemingly excited for his bottle. I pick him up gently making sure to cradle his head, and hop into the kitchen to feed him his bottle. I stop when I see the boys hungrily digging into their sandwich, ... with their shirts inside out, and socks on upside down. I lightly chuckle to myself, I'll fix them once Ryder finishes his bottle.Ryder slowly finishes his bottles, while the boys demolish their sandwiches. I slowly eat my own mentally preparing for the day. Ok, step one fix the boys outfits, step two get food from the grocers, step three call the doctor about when I can get off crutches, step four nap time for everyone.
Firsts things first, "Boys put away your plates in the sink and then come over here".
Since they finished eating they rush to follow my instructions. They make their way over to me quickly, and I once again softly chuckle at their state of clothing. I make sure to right all of their clothes but still tell them, "Buddies, you guys did a job, next time I'll help you get dressed though".
Onto step two, grocery shopping with 3 small children while on crutches, sounds like the best time of my life. No Brandon, think positive. "Boys, go grab your shoes, and come back while I get Ryders bag ready." Once again they sprint to follow my instructions, huh they never seemed this eager with Mom... stopping thinking about that Brandon.
