*Rule 2*
Betrayal is punishable by death.Knight's P.O.V~
I caught her small body as she fell into unconsciousness before taking out my phone and unfolding it. I pressed on the bottom of the screen. I picked her up, carrying her bridal style as my black Lamborghini came speeding around the alleyway, hovering right in front of us. I lifted the door, placing her in the passenger seat while I placed her bag on the floor. The sedative I put in her body should take effect for a few hours.I closed the door and got in on the driver's side, speeding off to meet Dragon at the bunker we'd set up just outside of the city. I looked at her slow breathing unconscious body and the thought of how beautiful she was passed through my mind, well, in a nerdy sort of way. Her skin was fair and seemed free of any flaws with one beauty mark resting beside her left eye, but it was almost hidden underneath the glasses. Her straw-colored hair was pulled up into a bun. I wished he would have warned me about such a girl.
About an hour into the drive, I pressed the autopilot button on my car, leaning over to get a better look at the woman that was supposed to be the Princess. I'd watched her for over a month already in an effort to figure out her routine, which she made it hard to do. Every day of the week she took a different route to her job, but eventually, I was able to determine the route for each day. I read up on her. Her mother died when she was ten in a housefire, she went into the foster system, graduated high school early, and eventually graduated college at the age of eighteen with a bachelor's degree in Music Education and a minor in criminal justice, yet instead of becoming a teacher, she ended up a secretary at a law firm.
Nothing about her made sense. She was supposed to be extremely intelligent, her I.Q. only slightly below mine. The way she fought me off showed me that she had some knowledge of self-defense, but not enough. She was overwhelmed so easily. I noticed the silver hanging around her neck and saw that it was hiding underneath her shirt. I pulled it out to see a silver pendant in the shape of a heart with an amethyst stone in the middle.

I pulled up to the old farmhouse out in the middle of nowhere, parking the car before shutting it off. I grabbed her bag and threw her body over my shoulder before carrying her inside. Dragon, who was sitting on the couch drinking a beer, stood up when I barged inside. I threw him her bag and told him to put it on the counter. He followed me down to the basement. We'd soundproofed the walls and put a bed in the middle of the room. I planned to deprive her for a few days, get her to submit. If she was weak she couldn't fight back. I threw her on the bed and placed her wrists above her, chaining her to the iron headboard of the bed. It wouldn't be long before the sedative going through her body wore off and she would wake up.
"I really never expected her to be . . ." My friend's voice trailed off and I smirked when I looked at him.
"Hot?" I questioned with a small chuckle. He nodded in response before taking another sip of his beer. "Josh," I sighed, using his real name. "I can already tell this stupid girl is gonna be a handful. Why did I agree to this?"
"You know why. You owe Chuck and doing this is gonna give you what you want." He reminded me.
"I didn't want to fucking babysit," I growled, pulling a chair up to sit beside the bed. The only thing I could do was wait for the girl to wake up.
Grace's P.O.V~
I woke up with my head pounding. It felt as if my whole body were numb. My vision, even with my glasses on was hazy for a split second before clearing up. As the feeling began to return to my body, I tried to move my arms but heard the clang of metal. I looked up to see that my wrists were chained together and swiftly looked around the dark and empty room with metal walls. I turned my head to my right side to see the man from earlier. The man who kidnapped me. I gasped and pushed myself to sit up with my legs. I tried as much as I could to free myself from the chains. All the while he was smirking as he sat in a chair next to the bed, staring at me as he smoked a cigarette.
