Grace's P.O.V~

The memories came rushing back to me the next morning, hitting me like a two-ton boulder.  I didn't know how to feel.  My virginity was taken from me, my whole body hurt, and I was upset at myself for slightly enjoying it.  I was upset because he made my body feel like it released years' worth of tension.  It was the first time someone ever paid that much attention to me, but it's not like he asked if I wanted it.  He just took it.  Then again, I didn't really fight back.

I slowly got out of the bed and changed into a long black maxi dress with blue swirls embroidered on the top.  I put on my flats to match and left my hair down and my glasses off, putting my contacts in instead.  I didn't feel like doing much today in terms of getting ready.  I left off the foundation and just put on a light amount of mascara and lip balm.  Both of my legs felt as if I would collapse any minute from the pain in my muscles. When I walked out, I could see them both sitting at the table, talking to one another about something important.

Knight was crossing his arms, looking pissed as usual while Josh was going over details, something about a man in China Town that had betrayed them by stealing some money off the top of their dealings and thus causing them to go south.  I strolled over to the fridge and opened it to get some water.  After getting a glass, I looked over at the table to see Knight eyeing me.  I blushed and quickly evaded his gaze.  I wanted to hide.  This was the only man who's seen me in such an embarrassing manner.  He wasn't my lover, he wasn't even a friend.  He was just the man who kidnapped me.  He was the handsome man that somehow managed to seduce me and get me to do something I regretted.  How did it-

"Kitten!"  Knight's deep voice snapped at me, pulling me out of my thoughts.  I blinked quickly before looking over at them.  "We've been trying to get your attention for almost a full minute."  He growled.

"S-Sorry,"  I mumbled.

"We're about to leave, Princess.  Since you just woke up, are you hungry?"

I shook my head.

"Do you need your glasses?"

"I put my contacts in today."

"Okay.  Let's go."

"Grace, are you okay?"  Josh asked as we walked to the elevator.  I could see Knight look at me from the corner of his eye as if he were genuinely concerned too.  I looked at him and tried not to bring suspicion on myself.  I didn't want to tell him about what Knight did.  They were friends and since I wasn't really close to either one of them, I assumed it wouldn't matter.  So, I just nodded and kept silent about the soreness in my legs.  As Josh walked in front of us, Knight put his hand on my lower back and leaned down to my ear.

"Are you sore?"  He whispered.  I blushed and nodded, looking away from the jade eyes that seemed to make me lose all my sense. "Do you want coffee? I know you like it."

"S-Sure, but how did you-"

"When I do research, I do it right. I like to know everything about a target. Especially if the target is someone as important as you." He smirked. As we walked he continued to keep his hand on my lower back, making me even more confused than before. How did it come to this?

The only sounds heard in the car was the engine as it hovered quickly above the road and the rock music that played softly in the background. He pulled into a Starbucks that sat in a shopping outlet and went through the drive-thru. He and Josh ordered two venti lattes for themselves before Knight looked to me.
