"so you're telling me that we are locked in this school and there is no way out," I say in summary after 30 minutes of trying to get out.
We managed to find the spare set of janitor keys but the main entrance is electronic and the only way to open it is through using a fob on the other side that we don't have.
"How the hell did this happen," Alex says as we slump down against the lockers in defeat
"We must have spent too long in the locker room and then chatting in the corridor for that the stupid janitor to lock up," I tell everyone
"there's no service, no key to get out, no way of connecting someone for help, so how do we get out of here?" Kelley asks speaking up
"what if we don't?" I say trailing off as I'm thinking of the plan
"I don't see where you're going with this one Avery" Hope asks me.
"We stay in school over the weekend. Think about it, it has everything we need to get through the two days until Monday rolls around and everyone comes back in, our parents aren't going to be worrying about us since they all think that you are at mine anyways" I tell them all confidently
"that sounds crazy Avery," Ali says speaking up
"yeah but it's not all stupid though" Christen replies making everyone look at her in surprise since she's normally the logical one of us all.
"Thanks, I guess?" I say not knowing whether my idea being called stupid is a compliment or not
"so are we seriously doing this right now?" Tobin says to us all
"I think we really are," Ash says back chuckling a little bit
"Let's get this party started!" I say jumping up from the floor and picking Alex up bridle style.
"ahhhh" Alex screams as I run down the school corridors carrying her in my arms.
We reach the end and I let down Alex laughing my head off as the others all follow us too.
"So what's the plan captain," Kelley asks
"Okay so here it is, O'Solo you guys are on getting sleeping supplies like blankets any pillows you can find, cushions from the staff room maybe. Preath you can get the heaters that are dotted around the classrooms I think it's going to get a little chilly during the night. Krashlyn you are on supplies duty, basically, anything to keep us entertained and Alex and I will be on food. Meet in the canteen when you've got everything and we'll go from there" I say giving out everyone's tasks
"aye aye captain" they all reply simultaneously knowing it annoys me
"you do realise you'll be cooking everything," Alex says as we make our way to the school cafeteria
"I know, who cooke every time you stay over" I reply
"that would be you," Alex says laughing slightly
"exactly babe," I say smiling at her.
We walk in silence for a bit, Alex taking my hand in hers before she speaks up
"aren't you a little scared," She says
"to be honest, yeah, I am a little," I tell her honestly
"yeah me too," She says letting out a sigh
"But I know I've got you by my side the entire time plus all of our friends so I'm not as scared," I tell her
"I love you," She says turning to look at me
