Five.
Lia’s POV;
I unwrapped myself from Justin’s sleeping arms and slowly got out of bed. I walked over to my dresser and pulled on a pair of running shorts and sports bra. I laced up my Nikes and grabbed my iPhone and headphones, leaving out the room. I walked outside and took in a huge breath of fresh air. After I stretched, I started running towards the tennis court. My feet was pounding the pavement to the Wide Awake, knowingly humming the tune to Katy Perry’s lyrics. I finally made it to the tennis court where I stopped by the outside vendor and bought a bottle of water. I ignored Dane and Carson’s stares from the courtyard and started chugging my water. When I finished I threw the bottle away and walked over to the courtyard tables and started stretching again, getting ready for round two of my jog.
“Wow Lia, you have one hell of a body.” Carson said from behind me.
I turned around and smirked. “Well hello to you too Carson.”
“I wish I could’ve heard you say that this morning.” He winked, and bumped fists with Dane.
I rolled my eyes, “You both are immature.” I started walking away.
“You have a nice ass too.” Dane called from behind me.
I only turned my walk into a jog and made my route back to my dorm. It was then I bumped into Bruce. “Shit, I’m so sorry.” I said snatching my headphones out of my ears.
He looked down at his coffee stained shirt, “Something told me not to get coffee today.”
“Oh my god, what kind of coffee is it? I’ll get you a new one.” I said turning towards the Starbucks he just walked out of.
“No it’s fine; I didn’t need the coffee anyways.” He laughed, pulling me back.
“Shut up, you’re just saying that.”
“No, seriously. I’m not even supposed to be drinking coffee while I jog anyways, just a guilty pleasure. But someone had to catch me in the act.”
I blushed, “Not my fault you’re being a bad boy.”
Bruce laughed, “Bad to the bone.”
I bit my lip and then mentally slapped myself for realizing I was flirting. “I should actually get back to my dorm…you know shower and stuff.”
“Oh come on, how about you just split a cinnamon coffee cake with me and then we can call it even for you dumping my coffee all over my clean Nike shirt.”
I rolled my eyes, “I guess that won’t kill me.”
Justin’s POV;
I woke up to an empty dorm room. I figured Lia just went out to go for a run like she usually does on Saturday mornings. I hopped out the bed and walked out the dorm room, down to the vending machines to grab myself a bag of chips and a soda. I thought I was clear of girls until I saw Nicolette turnaround from the vending machine. I internally groaned.
“Well, looks like someone got fucked last night.” She smiled coyly, looking at me in my boxers.
“Can you move so I can get my Barbeque chips and call it a day?” I groaned, moving her out the way.
“Your girlfriend didn’t get you anything while she’s at Starbucks with her replacement named Bruce?”
I snapped my head in her direction. “Don’t lie to me.”
“Why would I lie about something like that?” She grinned. “They seemed rather close too, can’t even get coffee without seeing the two of them laugh and whisper things in each other’s ear.”
