"Damn! How many times would you ask me if I am angry with you or not? I am not angry with you a while ago but I think I am now!" Beam
"Why?... you hate US being family?"
Beam hide his blush, he is thankful Forth is looking down on his feet while asking him. Honestly he just wants to drop the topic lightly. He is afraid that the meaning of such may differ from his and Forth's perspective. He don't want to assume anything, maybe Forth just meant it in a simple way; sibling.
"Nope! I am not angry." Beam
"really? " Forth lifting his head, obviously in a happy voice
"Accept it or not, we are family since forever Forth! But I am starting to get angry because you are spouting nonsense here while my stomach is having an internal war! So stand up now!" Beam
"Ok Bee, come here let me carry you!" Forth
"shut up! I am just hungry but not paralyzed!" Beam
"but I just want to pamper my baby" Forth whines.
"Stop! Move!" Beam
Finally Beam and Forth made it to the dining table. Beam is beet red, he tried to act cool and oblivious but that big dumbo right behind him is making it hard for him. He knows " the parents" are shocked with the sudden turned of events. How could they not, rather than acting subtly that dumbo Forth has been clinging to him the very moment they walk down the stairs. Even putting his chin on Beam's shoulder while walking to the dining table. They might wonder what happen to the war that just take place that very same morning. Beam even hears murmurs between parents saying about 'angel'. Whatever it is , he is too much preoccupied now with the bone crashing hugs he is getting from "their family"
"so you've talk Forth? did you tell Beam?" Ben
"hmnn Not yet Daddy Ben." Forth feeling a bit uncomfortable
"Dad we will talk when I found the moment right" Beam sensing Forth's low voice response compare to his joyful aura just a while ago.
" you're really an Angel Beam,even without the story you are starting to make amends with Forth. Thanks honey" Aunt Emie
Beam is about to answer back his Aunt Emie when he was flustered by the sudden interruption by Forth.
" Mom he said it's Okay to be family! Let's us be family Mom, Dad. Let Beam call you as Mom and Dad. Well I have been calling Aunt and Uncle the same since forever." Forth in a very cheerful voice.
Suddenly the people in the table start coughing and picking up water to clear their throat including Beam. He wonders why the statement sounded
so intimately crazy coming from Forth.
"Forth honey, of course I don't mind Beam calling me Mom. That would be awesome! " Aunt Emie
"But Son, are you sure Beam is okey with it? He just saw us again after a really long time." Dave
"Baby, you don't want to?" Forth looking Beam with puppy eyes.
This time the table become dead silent. Waiting for Beam to finally end the truce he had with Forth because of the endearment Forth just called BeAm "baby". And when something like that did not happen except Beam just asking Forth to behave, the parents are even more shocked.
"Forth! Behave!" Beam
"But baby, they are cool parents. As well as yours." Forth
"Forth...JUST EAT!" Beam
