Kabron

Kabron hopped out whip and made my way inside the corner store to grab my a bunch of snacks. He was high as a kite and had the munchies like a bitch so he decided to make a pit store before going to my bitch house to some good sex and quality time. He grabbed a few bags of chips, some candy off the shelf, two sodas out the refrigator and walked up to the counter.

"Wassup old man" he said dapping up Joe.
"What's going on with you yung blood"?  "Not shit out here surviving ya know" he told him with a smile on my face.
"Long as you low key and staying out of trouble we good" Joe stated as he rung up my items. Joe was cool as fuck to be in his late sixties. Everybody in the hood fucked with Joe the long way, he had owned this store since as long as Kabron could remember. He grow up around Joe, It was times when his mama didn't have any food or money to feed him and Joe would hook him up. He knew Kabron's mother was strung out, but not once did he judge her as a mother. Instead he just kept telling Kabron that he was praying for her.

Kabron stepped out of Joe's and stood there sipping on my bottle soda. The hood was busy as usual at this time of day, the corner boys were out making sells and the thots with the booty shorts were walking pass trying to throw their game at the dumb ass niggas who were too blinded to noticed their tricks to get in them pockets. As he closed the top on my bottle he looked to his left and stood stuck for a second as this familiar voice caught his attention. "Aye come on man I just need a hit please" The woman begged as she pushed up on this tall corner boy with afro.
"Bitch didn't I tell you I don't do no fucking freebies" the young boy Quin said, chuckling.
"Come on Quin please I really need this" She continued to beg.  Quin burst out laughing as he waved a small clear baggie of dope in her face "You plan on sucking me and all my boys dick for this... huh you junkie bitch"?

The look in the woman's eyes were filled with saddness, she had dealt with a lot with being a junkie, but never had she been so degraded in her life. She looked passed Quin to see all his boys laughing and making jokes about her and honestly it was enough to make her cry. She swallowed her pride and held her hand out for the boy to give her the clear baggie of white substance. When the woman turned to the side it was at that moment Kabron realized it was his own mother and it broke his heart. In the middle of their conversation, Kabron walked up and yocked Quin up half way off his feet. The fearful look in the young boy's eyes when he noticed it was Kabron that had him up in the air would have made you think he had shit himself.

"Who the fuck you talking to nigga"? Kabron barked.
"Man chill K yo I was talking to this bitch yo" Quin said in a choked up voice with his hands up in surrender position. His homeboys saw the commotion and who was part of it and went back to minding their business in fear that they would next if Kabron felt disrespected by them too.
"Yeah but that bitch you referring to happens to be my mother nigga" was all Kabron said before he starting giving Quin hard blows to his face. Vanessa, Kabron's mother stood there embarressed and speechless as her only son beat the shit out of her regular supplier.  "Don't you ever disrespect her again do you hear me nigga"? Kabron questioned as he stopped the beating and pulled the bloody boy up by his shirt.

Quin slowly bobbed his head letting Kabron know he agreed to his request before he pushed him roughly back down on the ground. Kabron looked around at the other corner boys who quickly looked away, not wanting those problems before he faced his mother.  "Mama why you out her begging like this"?
Vanessa waved him away and smacked her lips "Kabron you can't come around here messing up my shots and shit. I buy drugs from him all the time and now he will probably never give me anything else"? She fussed.
"I don't give a fuck ... you standing here letting these niggas disrespect you like you ain't shit ma"?
"That's because I ain't shit Kabron. All I ever be is a junkie mother who throw her life away, you can't change that son" She calmly said as she touched the side of his face.
"No but you can". He stared down at his once drop dead gorgeous mother and shook his head. It was the truth, she had really let herself go her beauty face had slightly sunk in and she stood there damn near only ninety pounds. Her soft light skin had turn dark ashy and the bags under her eyes indicated that she hadn't had a good night of sleep in months.
