Jamel POV

(A few days later)

Damn near the whole school well the popular part of the school was in the gym. We was practicing for our game on Wednesday, I was the point guard slash the MVP player on my basketball team and Kabron was a shooting guard. We never lost a game no matter what and we didn't plan on it cause we worked hard as a muthafucker. I glanced over at Meona who was the leader of her cheerleader squad practicing their routine, she was so amazing. Her and Kayla practice their moves and cheers while I ran up and down the court shooting hoops. Surprisedly I was able to finish school and be apart of the team because I was arrested a last year and was held back in school. But I kept my grades up and now I took half a day classes so that I still graduate when my class graduated in by the end of the year. I shot the ball from a far which made everyone cheer for me like this was a actually game, Kabron walked up and dapped me up all hype.

"My boy is a beast" he said laughing. "Nigga funny... Tell me something I don't know" I said sounding calm and conceited.
We both laughed as I dapped another one of my team member's up, he was hyped to and convinced we would win this game to. The girl Tiera, who had a couple classes with me walked up and hugged me. She was flirting with a nigga hard like she always did.
Don't get me wrong Tiera was a little redbone baddie, but she was to extra for me and I didn't think I could deal with her being my girl, she literally tried to hard and that shit bugged me at times. Then she would catch attitude if another girl talked to me like she was my girl already.
Kabron stepped back and Chuckled as he watched Tiera's every move, she was pressed and hard up on a nigga's dick and my boy knew that shit just as well as I did. "Ard bro I'ma let you handle that" he said still laughing as he walked away. I laughed at him and watched him walk away before looking down at Tiera's cute, but thirsty ass.

Meona POV

I was moving my body to the music as the girls watched and followed my moves then we all did the dance together. We practiced about two more times before I called for a break. Me and Kyra walked over to the bleacher and sat down watching the boys play ball while we gossiped. I noticed the girl from our class Tiera all in Jamel's face. I ain't gonna lie a slight feeling of jealousy came Upon me, but I brushed it off Realizing he was only my best friend.

"Girl why is her thirsty ass in ya man's face"? Kyra asked rubbing it in. "Bestfriend" I reminded her in a unfazed voice as I watched Tiera's every move. How she rubbed her hand across his face and down his chest almost made me stomach sick. "You still need to put her ass in check" Kyra said. "He's not my man Kyra will you stop" I said laughing at her being crazy.
Just then while we were talking Daron walked up to us and sat down like he was invited to. I rolled my eyes and sucked my teeth at his presence.
"What the hell you doing"? Kyra asked jumping at him. He looked her up and down before looking at me "You ready to talk to me now"? He asked. I shook my head no without even looking his way. "Really you gonna be this way"? He questioned. "Yeah Daron I'mma be that way" I said with attitude as I stood up bout to walk away. But that changed when he jumped up and grabbed me up like I was his property.
"Stop playing with me Meona yo" he said with a mean mug on his face. I swear if I knew he would be so annoying I would have thought twice about dealing with him. I had been on and off with Daron for two years, but with all the pain he caused I was really done this time and he wasn't getting the picture.
Daron wasn't a ugly dude either his attitude was. He was tall, but not as tall as Jamel.
