Fine then...
It was an hour ago since 'Will' left, I was pretty much bored and to my dismay I was still deciding if I do want to be alone until I find Elisabeth, and for fucks sake I might just be looking for nothing she could be dead for all I know. I sighed maybe I was too rough on the kid, and plus it was kinda good to have someone to talk to again, I looked around there was nothing really here for me anymore so I walked away from the aisle and scanned the items, as I passed by a counter with jewelry I remembered the Rolex I 'borrowed', I quickly threw my bag on the counter and searched for, "yes!," I said pulling out the Rolex and admiring it if the zombie apocalypse never started I could never get my hands on this,
Smiling I slid it on my wrist admiring how it looked on my tanned skin. I then looked around the counter thinking of getting a present for Elisabeth if I see her again, my eyes landed on a gold necklace which had a rose pendalent on the chain, I quickly put it in my my making sure it was safe and not going anywhere, then I spotted another big gold chain I smiled as I wore it. I was practically just 'borrowing' these.
Then out of nowhere I heard gunshots from outside which almost made me shit my pants "what the fuck," I said holding my heart, this was the third time I heard gunshots. I then thought maybe it was Willow, debating on whether I should go help her or not, what are you thinking?, Go help her! My sane self yelled at me, I sighed I was right pretty soon she'll be the death of us. I decked for the entrance hoping I wasn't too late,
Now that I had a chance to help someone instead of letting them die, I knew if I did leave her I wouldn't forgive myself even though she was a pain in the ass when I first met her, she was still human. As I made it out I saw that it was indeed Willow which the gunshots came from, I saw about six zombies surrounding her she was practically calling for me with those missed gunshots, "Willow!," I called out to her which brought her attention to me and the zombies as well, "shit," I muttered as they came towards the sound of my voice "run!," I told her, the fear pierced in her eyes she nodded and decked back into the supermarket, "well Dumbo's, come get me!," I yelled at the zombies leading them away from Willow and making them follow me, to my avail they did. As I stopped running thinking it was a safe distance from the supermarket I stopped turning to the zombies who were tumbling towards me,
As one got closer to me I pulled out my knife not wanting to waste ammo and call for more, as quickly as I could I fast walked to it and stabbed it's head with a quick motion Killing it instantly, it's body falling to the ground with a loud thump, which caught the other zombies attention they all made their way to the zombie on the ground, I raised an eyebrow they weren't focused on me? I thought, shrugging that thought I killed the rest quickly as I could, as I stabbed the last zombies head it fell into of the others making a pile of dead,
I sighed wiping the sweat from my forehead, "I'm not getting paid for this," I said looking at my killings in front of me, I then jogged back to the supermarket sewing that no other zombies were out, I slowly walked in the entrance "Willow?," I called out looking around and before I could react I saw something small run to me and tackle me, luckily not throwing me to the ground I then looked down to see a brown hair little girl hugging me, "t-thank you," Willow said hugging me "old man," she added pulling away, I rolled my eyes "y'know if we're going to be a team, you need to get better combats," I said smiling,
Her face lit up "oh my God for reals?," She asked squealing hugging me again, "hey don't make me change my mind," I joked with her she let go putting her hands in the air smiling, "thank you so much, I don't know what I would've done without you," she said sighing, "probably surviving," I shrugged my shoulder she rolled her eyes again, "so what's your name old man?," She asked I then remembered I never told her my name, "Ash," I told her going to the counter to grab my bag, "woahh, as in the hot Pokemon trainer?," She joked with me I looked at her weirdly,
