Don't leave me

Part 20

-Taehyung-

After Jin left I noticed Jungkook really was asleep. It'd been a hard day for both of us and he definitely needed the sleep. The doctors said I could get out in a week since everything was okay and I was even able to walk on my own, I could do things just fine without help so I should be fully recovered and if any pain occurred I need to hurry back. As my doctor came in he saw Jungkook and then at me so I shook my head no to say I was fine. He tried his best to not wake Jungkook up while checking my vitals.

Doctor- "All reports are saying that you can get out at most in two days. At best in the morning. Everything seems to be just fine and normal. It really is a miracle you woke up. This guy was here at opening hours until ending. Never leaving a second earlier and most days I let him in early because he'd be here super early to wait. Really is devoted. Even when he was a patient he only cared about seeing you and making sure you were okay."

I winced remembering that Jungkook climbed on top of me as fast as he had to got hit with a bit of the ceiling caving in and I'd noticed the blood back then. I loved him and was happy he literally risked his life for me to show me he was serious but the fact that he was so serious about me living that he got himself hurt upset me.

Taehyung- "May I ask what all was wrong with him?"

Doctor- "He came in here with pretty bad burns and was pretty ill. The smoke damaged his lungs for a while but none of it was bad enough to kill him or leave scars. He's a strong kid. I had no idea that he single-handedly saved your life until your friends told us. He was giving you CPR when we got there because your heart had stopped and if we'd been any later he couldn't have brought you back to life."

I smiled while looking at him, he looked so calm. He was all I wanted in life to begin with so why did he have to go so far for me when I never once made a step for him. The most I'd ever done was trying to kill myself or kissing him, even walking away and ignoring him. I whimpered when I remembered once again a girl, I'd seen her in my house. I thought I had at least, maybe it's because I was too tired to see right but she'd been standing in front of me with a knife and when I woke up to see fire she was running across the street.

Doctor- "Mr. Kim, calm down. Your heart rates picking up."

I knew I hadn't been seeing things. It had definitely been Soo~ah. She had said something to me, why couldn't I breathe again? It felt like smoke was once again in my lungs and Jungkook woke up to see me panting and the doctor trying to calm me down. Jungkook grabbed my cheeks and made me look at him, I was in a panicked state so he rested his forehead on mine and whispered lowly.

Jungkook- "Shhh, I got you out. You're okay. I'm right here."

I felt the IV in my wrist get colder as I became tired again and Jungkook made me lay down until whatever the doctor had put into my IV made me sleep. I had no idea how long I was asleep but when I woke up it was because jungkook lighty shook me. He was wearing different clothes now too.

Jungkook- "I brought you some clothes. You're being released today. As soon as you get released come to my place. Do NOT go home with your father. I have to hurry to school but call me as soon as they tell you he's here okay? I don't care where I am or what I'm doing I will rush here right away to make sure you get to my house."

I nodded slightly as he helped me change since I was still super tired and on the verge of sleep.

Taehyung- "Okay."

He gave me a quick kiss before leaving. I fell back asleep until I was woken up by the doctor who was smiling.

Doctor- "Your father is here, he's signing the release papers now. From now on I really don't want to see you in a hospital bed okay? You have to always make sure you try your best in everything and study hard. Try not to come back okay?"

I nodded and called Jungkook like he said and after three rings he picked up.

Jungkook- "Tae?"

Taehyung- "He's here to get me."

Jungkook- "On my way now. Stall."

I hung up and groaned, making the doctor look at me.

Doctor- "whats wrong?"

Fast answer.

Taehyung- "My ankle hurts a bit to move. Doctor will you check it?"

He nodded and laid his clipboard down then slowly moved my ankle in a rolling motion that made me hiss in pain. I knew it didn't hurt as badly as I was making it seem but there was a little numbness to it.

Doctor- "That's odd. You were alright before. I wonder what happened. It could just be sore but wait here. I'll ask your father for a few minutes to see."

I nodded and sent Jungkook a text saying to hurry, I didn't know how long I could stall them like this. When the doctor came back he helped me stand and I put pressure more onto my other foot to make it seem like it was hurting.

Doctor- "Think you can walk?"

I nodded and did with a limp. Jungkook sent me a text saying he was here so I could drop the excuse.

Taehyung- "I think it's just sore from laying down so much. I'll be okay right doctor?"

He laughed and pat my shoulder.

Doctor- "You and your boyfriends scheme. Why'd you need it?"

Shit, he knew?

Taehyung- "W-what?"

Doctor- "The rolling motion I did with your foot. It shouldn't have hurt so I assumed you were stalling and played along. Does your father hurt you or something?"

I had no idea anymore. I hadn't been home in so long. I literally lived with Jungkook or Jimin.

Taehyung- "I wanted to see him before I went home. I know I won't get much time with him because of studying so I was stalling."

The doctor nodded and walked with me to the lobby where Jungkook was and my father was sitting. When he saw me I saw the hate in his eyes, it made me hesitate to move any closer really and Jungkook came up but didn't touch me.

Jungkook- "I'm glad you're okay."

I knew he wouldn't give us away with my father right there but it kinda stung to see his smile right now after I learned what happened to him because of me.

Taehyung- "Thanks kook~ah. I'm sorry if you got worried."

Jungkook- "I have your work from today, you should come over to get it done."

My father roughly grabbed my wrist and I saw Jungkook force himself to his place.

Father- "You can bring it over to my house. He needs rest still right? He can rest at home and finish it."

I met Jungkooks eyes and his jaw was locked.

Taehyung- "It'll be fast father. In and out."

His glare could have killed me I swore to it.

Father- "You have two hours. Be late and I won't be happy."

He left and I fell into Jungkook, feeling weak suddenly and the nurse rushed over to me.

Nurse- "Take it easy, you just got to leave this place."

As soon as we got to Jungkooks house I fell on the bed, not sure how to handle this much right now.
