Don't leave me

Part 12

-No ones POV-

Who knew that where one bad thing happened another good thing came right around the corner? Jungkook and Taehyung had no idea the other was on the rooftop until Jungkook saw Taehyung leaning over the edge with his eyes closed. Jungkook had no idea what to do or think by the sight of him until Taehyung did something Jungkook never would have seen coming. He climbed on the edge and stood so close to falling. Who would have guessed the one who was acting so strong was the weakest? Jungkook ran up and grabbed Taehyungs arm to pull him down and only to unsteady him, casing him to fall on top of Jungkook and knock the air out of him.

-Taehyungs POV- (I won't do three like I have been, I'll stick to Jungkook and Taehyungs POV since we can already see Jimin is falling for someone else.)

I moaned in a bit of pain and Jungkook kept his arms around me while his eyes were closed. He was panting while holding me so close. I felt his heart beating out of his chest but I couldnt move a muscle by the way he kept me so close. I could see that his eyes were still closed which meant he was in pain but I couldnt do anything but stay still. What had he thought I was going to do? Jump? I was just going to sit and watch the sky.

Taehyung- "Just...let go."

Jungkook- "Mmm. Never. Promise me Taehyung, I won't ever let you do that so promise you'll call me anytime you feel like dying. I'll give you reasons to live."

I tried to once again get off of him, I could tell he was hurt from that fall and the impact of me landing on him. He still didn't let go when I put all my strength into it. With my hands beside his head and putting all my effort into getting out of his grip it lightly lifted his head on the ground and I had to rebalance myself, wincing when a sharp rock cut me.

Jungkook- "Are you okay?"

He had to have hit it. That was why he didn't get up? because he was hurt?

Taehyung- "Let go right now Jungkook. And sit up."

Jungkook met my eyes and shook his head.

Taehyung- "Please?"

He sighed and let go, suddenly I wasn't warm anymore and I didn't move for a second, lost in the cold until he lightly touched my hand that was still next to his head and now I was the only thing keeping us on the ground. As I went to get off him he winced.

Taehyung- "You hit your head. Didn't you?"

Jungkook chuckled softly as I sat in front of him, leaning against the bricks and he sat up himself.

Jungkook- "How'd you know?"

Taehyung- "The rock under your head scratched me. So it had to of scratched your head."

He shook his head no.

Jungkook- "It scratched my neck, not enough to bleed though so I'm fine."

He moved and wiped sweat from my head and froze a bit when our eyes met.

Jungkook- "You know her death really wasn't your fault right? I can tell by the way you react to things that you're hurting still. Lizzie...Yes she's gone and you two broke up that day...But her falling wasn't your fault."

I felt myself tearing up. How did he know that?"

Taehyung- "Jungkook...You've kissed me so many times yet...You're with Soo-Ah. Why?"

Jungkook- "I've always known she's cheating on me."

I raised an eyebrow at him, wondering so many things at once.

Taehyung- "Why'd you stay with her then Jungkook? That's not good for you. Being in a relationship like that would be bad for your mental health right?"

He looked down and smiled a bit.

Jungkook- "Wouldn't not being in a relationship make it harder on me? She's that line I can't cross with you. I fell for you so long ago and what stopped me doing anything was that I was dating her. Though when I saw for my own eyes what she was doing I couldn't hold it back anymore and I kissed you, that's when I found what I really want."

I smiled without meaning to and he sat beside me with a light chuckle.

Taehyung- "Lunch is literally an hour long. We had thirty left when I was about to SIT on the edge, not jump. So I assume we have ten left now?"

He shrugged.

Jungkook- "Does that matter? I mean you can't even focus in class when they talk about things like...You know...And I can't focus if I know you're hurting. I just always want to make things better for you and that can't happen if you don't let me in. You can't keep blocking me out."

I elbowed his side.

Taehyung- "Hush up. You always get so soft to me then turn around and scold me for everything."

Jungkook caught me off guard and spoke.

Jungkook- "Be with me Taehyung."

I was so shocked that I wasn't sure what to say.

Taehyung- "N-not yet."

Jimin- "Ah. You beat me to it Jungkook."

Both of us looked up at our approaching friend.

Jimin- "I was coming up here to talk to him but it seems you came up here first. Anyway, come on you two. Class is about to start and I don't want to see another teacher wonder about Taehyung. You two live together so you can talk later."

He pulled me to my feet and Jungkook stood on his own.

Jungkook- "He's right Taehyung. We have all the time in the world."

Damn it all Jungkook, don't chase after me. I won't always be able to run from that. I want to say yes now that theres nothing in our way but I don't want you to get hurt by me.

Jimin- "what's he talking about Tae?"

I met Jungkooks eyes.

Taehyung- "We have all the time in the world to be together, yet theres still ropes between. It's nothing you need to understand Jimin."

Jimin nodded softly and Jungkook bit his lip, fully understanding I wasn't talking to Jimin. He nodded and walked beside me and Jimin with his hand pressed lightly to the back of mine while he walked and I knew why he did it. I couldnt help but smile at his confidence.
