Nicki POV
I was sleeping peacefully until I heard some loud chewing noise I frowned I opened my eyes to see Brooklyn eating a packet of Fritos she looked at me and smiled
"Hey momma" she said
"Girl my room ain't a play room why you in here?" I asked
"Ashley is watching TV with her dad"
"He's also your dad" I said
"I don't think so, want some?" She asked
"Yeah" I took out a few chips
"We going to church today?" She asked
"Yeah" I said
"Is Ashley's dad coming with us?"
"I don't know if he wants"
"BTW on Wednesday we will be playing netball against some losing school" she said
"I have a heart transplant surgery I need to perform I'm not sure how long it will take but as soon as I'm done I'll be there"
"Goodie"
"It starts at 1 pm right?" I asked
"Yes, you'll see your daughters kicking butts" she said
"They better kick butts" I said
"You know we never disappoint" she said and laid her head on my chest
I kissed her forehead
After cuddling for half an hour I took a shower and got dressed I went downstairs Meek and Ashley were making breakfast
"Hey Ms Maraj" Ashley said with the biggest smile
"Girl I ain't giving you money" I said
"Girl I don't need your pennies my dad has dollars" she said
Meek laughed
"Actually I'm broke as hell I ain't even got a penny" he said
"So y'all made food?" Brooklyn asked
"Yeah, we made pancakes, bacon, eggs, sausages and grilled tomato" Meek said
"Well it looks like imma gain a lot of weight today" Brooklyn said sitting down
"Lemme dish up for y'all" Meek said
Ashley pulled up a chair for me and I sat down Meek dished up for all of us and we all ate together
"We're going to church today, wanna come with us?" I asked
"Yeah"
"Brooklyn is in the choir" Ashley said
"Oh so we've got a Beyonce in the house" Meek said smiling
Brooklyn was quiet
"So what time does the service start?" He asked
"9 am" he nodded
After breakfast the girls went to get ready I washed the dishes
"You good?" Meek asked
"Yeah" I said
"Can we talk about yesterday?" Meek asked
"No"
"Look Nic I'm sorry I didn't mean to make you feel uncomfortable it was a mistake and I promise it won't happen again" he said
