Ashley's POV
I woke up in the middle of the night to take a dump I kept my eyes closed the whole time I could hear mom's sobs it breaks my heart that Mr Chris is missing and he could be dead after doing my business I flushed and washed my hands I went to mom's room
The door was halfway open I knocked and got in
"Mommy?" I asked walking in
Her sobs died down
I walked over to her bed
"Mommy please don't cry" I said
"Ashley go to bed"
"It's gonna be okay mommy, I know he's alive" I said
"I know that he is alive" she said
"Then don't cry" I said
"Okay"
I sat next to her and wiped her tears
"I love you Mommy" I said
"I love you too baby" she kissed me
I wiped my lips when she looked away y'all probably wondering why
I don't want germs and my could-have-been-siblings on my lips I know what my mom and Mr Chris be up to and I don't like it I laid my head on top of hers
"Ya big head heavy as hell" she said
"Well I got it from you" I said
"Girl my peanut sized head ain't heavy" she said
"That's what you think but we all know the truth" I said
She laughed
"Girl go back to your room" she said
"Fine fine fine" I mumbled
I passed my room and went straight to Brooklyn's room I opened her door and she was snoring I got in her bed and went to sleep
She's gonna be so mad when she wakes up

I woke up to somebody violently shaking me
"Why you in my room?" She asked with a mean look on her face
"I couldn't sleep" I said
"Why didn't you go to your mom's bedroom?" She asked
"She was crying" I said
Her eyes widened
"Why?"
"I think it's because of Mr Chris" I said
"Do you think her and Meek will get back together?" She asked
"Never he's my dad and all but I don't think they're right for each other" I said
"You think we should go check up on her?" She asked
"Yeah" I said
"Get out of my bed" she said
"Okay okay"
We bathed and then got dressed I went back to her room waiting for her to finish then we went to mom's room she was watching a movie
"Good morning Mommy" I jumped on the bed
"Hey girls" she said
Her voice was a bit hoarse
"You okay mom?" Brooke asked
"Yeah I'm okay" she said
"Well we need you to take us to school" I said
"Don't worry Meek will take y'all to school" she said
