She isn't one you'd call bad. She's still being rational, and though she got in troubles, she really did have nothing to lose. So why wouldn't she risk it? You only live once, they always said.
Moving on your senior year is supposed to be a hard move. But her being her, well, she fit just right in like she'd always been there.
The first day of school, she arrived in her brand new AMG. Crashed into the jocks, and made it out alive. She become popular overnight, and the rest is history.
The music's blasting loud from the speakers. Drunk teenagers swaying here and there. Some preoccupied with one another, some just too caught up to give a damn, and some just stood there awkwardly, and drink on the sideway- with a cringe on their face- may she adds.
"Guys," she tapped both guys's shoulders as she leaned in. "It's a party. You drink or you leave. Don't hesitate. Nobody's sober enough to talk you out tomorrow," she winked at them, leaving while smirking, knowing very well they're gawking at her.
Well, let's say she didn't exactly dress all that appropriately- though she isn't one of those girls who flaunt their body to no end like everywhere is a pool party.
'She's got this thing called concious, duh,' she rolled her eyes internally."Elena! Right on time!" Jack screamed as he saw her walking in on the living room as she owns the place.
"We're just about to start the game," he grinned as she occupies the empty spot beside him.
Right at the same time, Nathan- today's host- straddled into the room, taking a seat exactly to her opposite as he eyed her down.
'Are you seriously wearing that?' His gaze seemed to ask as he raised a brow at her.
'What i wear, has nothing to do with you,' she squinted her eyes, before looking away- earning a shrug from him that she didn't miss.
Aside from that one interaction, they never really talked to each other. It's like some unspoken agreement between them, to never cross each other's path- and somehow, the universe obliges.
They passed each other at several occasions. Like on the fields, or at the cafeteria for instance. But it's from a distance, and it's not like they has time to eye one another from end to end of the room. He's usually busy with girls on his arms. Usually different girls each passing weeks- or so they said. Who is she to keep count?
"What are we playing?" Elena asked as Jack's starting to prepare some salt, lime, glasses- anything actually- that she decided not to keep count. Not like it mattered to her.
"We," he stopped to make an effect, with a grin on his face. "Are playing dare if you dare. Chief-" he called as Nathan waved- signaling go ahead, that he's not gonna start the game.
"Fine, i'll represent you," Jack exclaimed, spinning the bottle in the middle of the table.
It stopped at a guy she didn't even bother remembering his name. He's not that popular, but he's fine with Jack, so it's no wonder he sometimes hangs around the jocks.
Jack dared him to skinny dip on the pool they're facing. He obliged. Everyone laughed. The game continues. He dared another guy- most likely his close friend- to pick a girl to kiss from their circle, and he spend no time jumping to the poor asian girl who seemed to be not that interested to be in this place.
She rolled her eyes, and now, it's the girl's turn to spin the bottle. It landed on Jack, and she dared him to kiss the guy who just previously kissed her.
The guy seemed shocked- and traumatized as he certainly didn't had it coming his way that Jack wouldn't even object on the dare- not even a slightly. He just shrugged, and gave the poor guy a full forced make out session.
