And Taeyong was right. He was the perfect boyfriend.
Taeyong would make it his duty to bring Doyoung lunch every afternoon and lattes for breakfast, without fail.
The first couple of times, Doyoung was barely coherent when he walked into his kitchen in the morning to see that Taeyong left him things, but once he sat down at the table and took a sip of his latte with 5 pumps of Bailey's Irish cream and ate a few chocolate croissants, Doyoung was ready to tackle the world...and of course text his boyfriend the sweetest amounts of thanks.
Even when Taeyong was busy he would make sure to stop by Doyoung's house to drop off candy for him and even visited when he was unaccompanied by Gongmyung.
"Taeyong, it's so late."
"I know, but I got Sour Patch kids! Just for you,"
"Stop spoiling me, hyung."
"Never. You're sour at first, but then you're sweet. I saw them and thought of you."
"Hyung."
"What? Wasn't that cheesy? Shouldn't I get a kiss for that?"
"...yes. Come here, fool."
During those moments, Taeyong and Doyoung would be in the backyard, sitting on the grass talking about music, art, and school--and even when Taeyong was feeling particularly careless, even plant a delicate kiss on Doyoung's palm.
"Why would you do that? What if someone sees?"
"You giggled, totally worth it."
"Hyung."
"I was brave, wasn't I? Shouldn't I get a kiss for that?"
"OK--but a quick one!"
But the moments Taeyong was in Doyoung's room hit different after being with him so intimately.
Doyoung before was used to having Taeyong in his bedroom to help him with various class assignments or just chatting casually until Gongmyung came home—but the way Doyoung felt lightening in his veins when Taeyong closed the door behind him, pressing his back to the door while facing Doyoung with a wanton gaze before hearing the refreshing 'click' of the lock made Doyoung body melt with familiarity.
Doyoung would feel his cheeks heat up, focusing his gaze on the hardwood floors before Taeyong would put his hands on his boyfriend's waist. It had been a month since they became boyfriends, but Taeyong was enamored with Doyoung's waist, how it fits so right in his hold. Doyoung suffers fools just at the way Taeyong's lips graze at his jawline, while his arms perched on his hyung's shoulders, hands folding to card lovingly through Taeyong's blonde coif.
"Isn't this here where you first put your show for me, right bunny?"
