It was the end of June, several after weeks from the double date.

Taeyong felt sticky and nauseated soon as he woke up. For some reason, his back throbbed, achy and exhausted from his shift just the night before.

Taeyong rolled over on his back, stared blankly at the ceiling.

Doyoung didn't stay over last night and Taeyong fucking hated it.

It physically pains all over when Doyoung doesn't stay the night. Taeyong didn't know if he didn't express explicitly enough, but he wanted Doyoung to move in, immediately.

Gradually, Taeyong had been dropping hints the size of whales to Doyoung. He began buying Doyoung's favorite snacks, pressures Doyoung to change out of his clothes and into sweats and fuzzy slippers as soon as he hits the door. Taeyong gifted Doyoung an expensive toothbrush that matches his own, cologne, bathrobes and even matching coffee mugs for those lazy mornings before class.

Taeyong even went as far as keeping extra pair of Doyoung's retainer sanitized and ready to go by his nightstand if Doyoung ever forgot to pack his.

"Are you ordering something?" Taeyong asked as he looked over Doyoung's shoulder as they went for coffee one morning. "Use the address here."

All those hints and Doyoung's genius brain didn't take it. So, when Doyoung would come over on Thursday nights, only to leave on Monday morning made Taeyong emotionally upset.

Taeyong rolled over with a sigh, melting into the fabric. He even used his hard-earned overtime to change out his little full-size bed to the latest model new memory foam king-size bed. It was supple and cool and was too hard to get out of some times.

Especially when Doyoung was in it. Melted within the pillow top, warm and supple and smooth and gentle.

Taeyong groaned and reached over for his iPhone the screen didn't blip on when he held it up. Taeyong lifted it up and the Face ID screen didn't pop on.

Taeyong pressed and held the side button to see the 'no battery' sign.

It wasn't plugged in and Taeyong swore he slapped it on the charger last night.
