SUMMARY: James liked his job at the the Ninety Ninth Precinct. It gave him stability, and he felt far more accomplished. He'd spent a lifetime of trying to prove himself to his seemingly unloving father. James had pushed himself, first getting a degree in Forensic Psychology before deciding that he wanted to become a cop. He fits in well, and it's not long before he's participating in the fun shenanigans and pranks fellow detective Jake Peralta, sets up. It's also not long before James finds himself falling in love.

James is a literal softie
He gets along with Charles. James usually brings in homemade snacks into work on special occasions.
James would like to have a family of his own.
James has three cats, a siamese, an ocicat and a tabby.
Jake and James are partners in crime.
James would try to impress Holt at first, something that Jake may find annoying.
