SUMMARY: Samuel didn't hate his job. maybe he did. it was pretty boring, if he had to be honest. he worked in the archives of the ninety ninth precinct. all he had to do was paperwork, which was not ideal, because ironically, Sam hated paperwork. it was monotonous, boring, yet he never pushed himself to do anything about it. he'd had dreams of being a teacher*, but he'd had to drop out, being unable to afford tuition fees.
He's soon used to being around cops, despite his parent's distaste for them. and there's a certain detective that catches his eye: Amy Santiago. What can he say, she's incredible, super smart, super sweet, and yep, he's super in love with her. Another problem? She doesn't know who he is.*
