"The shipment is due to arrive in 3 days. Lee promised us no complications but I made sure to give him a warning that if he messed up he would pay for it with his life and his family wouldn't be spared as well" Kyungsoo said but got silence in response which made him raise his head only to see that his boss was faraway.

"Boss...boss...BAEK"
"WHAT?"
"You haven't been listening to me this whole time. What's got you occupied so much in your mind? This is unlike you" Kyungsoo asked and got a heavy sigh in response.

"I don't know why I can't stop thinking about him"
"Who?"
"My golden eyed fairy"
"You mean Chanyeol" Kyungsoo responded in shock. He knew his boss liked the university student but this now looked more like obsession. He never allowed a lover to distract him even from his work.

"Now I really want to see what all the fuss is about. If this boy has you hooked like this he better be worth it. I wish I had gotten a chance to see him last night but Suho said he was nowhere in sight"
"I looked everywhere for him but then I assumed he didn't come last night" Suho added as he entered the office before passing some files to Baekhyun.

"I guess I have the best luck then. He was here last night" Baekhyun went on to explain how they had met and what he had done to help the young man. Not much was said considering how shy Chanyeol was but it was alright. Drunk Chanyeol was daring but sober Chanyeol was shy and cute. Baekhyun mostly admired his beauty as he blushed all shades of pink. After everything he had made sure he was driven home safely.

"Damn it that idiot was here last night with some bimbo and he must have seen them" Suho said in anger after hearing Chanyeol broke down and cried again.
"Who is this idiot? What did he do?"
"Chanyeols ex boyfriend who cheated on him and made it a public spectacle. I won't tell you who it is because you won't hesitate to kill him considering how you can't stop thinking about Chanyeol. I myself want to kill the bastard because he hurt a gem. When I first met Chanyeol I felt like caring and protecting him. He is a precious gem who needs to be protected from all the dangers of the world. An innocent one that needs to stay pure and not corrupted by this world"

"You're too sentimental Suho. Beauties like that will only bring you trouble. Great men fall that way" Kyungsoo added
"The question is, is he worth the fall" Suho said as they both faced their boss in question.

On Monday Chanyeol felt better and swore he wouldn't shed another tear for that asshole ex of his. But he didn't think much about Kris to be honest. Truthfully his mind was occupied with the older man he had met at the party. 

Chanyeol wasn't oblivious to everything that happened around him and his parents kept him well informed and educated. This meant he knew who the man was as soon as he had mentioned his name. Byun Baekhyun was one of the most dangerous men in the mafia and he couldn't believe they breathed the same air together. They had even kissed.  Chanyeol couldn't help but blush at the thought. He thougjt he was just some

Truthfully he was not what he expected. The man was devastatingly handsome and didn't look that old. Even if he had almost shot Chanyeol after everything that had happened he didn't seem as scary as people said he was. Chanyeol even blushed thinking about how they parted ways.

"Make sure you take care of yourself beautiful. My men will take you home safely and I will inform your father you have left" Baekhun said as he caressed his cheek as they stood right outside the limo.

Chanyeol kept his eyes down because of how shy he felt. He didn't even say much but Baekhyun didn't seem to mind.

"Look at me. I want to see your pretty eyes baby" The mob boss said as he raised the younger males chin and they locked gazes.

"Beautiful" he said before he leaned forward close to his ear with an arm wrapped around the younger waist pulling his body against his own, "Pray that we don't meet again because I swear I won't let you go so easily next time sweetheart" Baekhyun let go of him before he winked, turned and walked back into the house.

Chanyeol had to admit the man left him heated and the smirk he had given him was hot. But it was weird right. The man was almost 14 years older than him. The age gap was too much right. It's not like  anything would happen anyway and because of his last heartbreak Chanyeol wasn't really willing to get into another relationship. It's best he just forgets about the handsome way older man.

"Hey Channie" Amber called out as soon as she saw her best friend, "Hey boo what's up?" She said as she ran up to him and gave him a big hug, "Gosh I missed you so much. How is my tall teddy bear?" she said happily.

"I'm great. How was your trip?" He asked, as they headed to their first lecture.

"At first I wasn't so keen on visiting Indonesia, with the fact that there's lots of snakes there and my dad thought it would be cool to spend our vacation in a local village but after like a week it got fun. I made a few friends and it was sad to leave. I wish you had come with me though. You were going to love it there. Actually got back yesterday and my mom insisted I get some rest but I couldn't wait to see my adorable best friend. How was Spain?"

"It was beautiful and quiet. Just what I needed"

"I hope that douchebag didn't bother you when I wasn't here"

"No don't worry I'm over it okay"

"Promise"

"I promise" the two friends caught up even more the rest of the day since they were in the same classes.

Chanyeol didn't have many friends. Most people only wanted to get close to him because his family was rich or because they wanted to get into his pants and deflower him as he had heard. He had thought Kris was different but he was wrong. He refused to sleep with the male and so he didn't hesitate to cheat on him with someone more willing.

He was thankful he had a friend like Amber. Her bubbly attitude is something he really needed in his life and he hoped the rest of the day would be as pleasant as she made it. But I guess it was too much to ask for.
