When they returned to the house Chanyeol skipped lunch with the excuse that he was sleepy from his medication and went straight to the penthouse suit. But the fact that he was all alone made him even sadder. He decided to take a bath and so he stripped in the bedroom before wrapping a towel around his waist.

He first checked his new cellphone if he had any messages from his parents and close friends.

Hey sweetie pie. What did the doctors say. Are you getting better? Send mommy a picture so that I can see you are well. We miss you. Your dad and I love you so much remember that 😘😘😘

I'm good mom. Healing well and feeling great. The doctors said all is well. I miss you and I love you too ❤❤❤

Chanyeol smiled as he read the message from his best friend.

I'm getting better but... I'm not okay. I can't stop thinking about what happened and why Kris would do this to me. All I wanted was to be loved but instead I got the most hate. I don't know if I can ever trust anyone again. Its even hard to tell my parents how I really feel. I feel... broken, confused, useless. I can never be who I used to be. I'm not the same and I can never be happy. I just want to be happy. Is that too much to ask? Or do I not deserve happiness? Am I okay? No I'm not okay and I never will be okay. I just want to die right now. I just want it all to end. I can't take it anymore. I just want it to end.

He left the phone on the dressing table before checking his reflection in the mirror. He looked terrible. He wiped all his tears and forced a smile.
"I can do this. I can overcome this" he whispered to himself before finally entering the bathroom to get the shock of his life.
