A devastating headache pounded in Anakin's head. He squinted, and glanced out the window of the jedi temple. The sky was yellow.

The stars that were once visible above coruscant were imploding, tinting the sky with an intoxicating yellow hue. In the middle of the sky, a black orb hovered over the centre of coruscant.

Anakin felt a fear, an oppressive fear consume him. He was scared. He had absolutely no idea what was happening, but he felt he needed to protect his wife, daughter, and son from whatever threatened this galaxy. But how?

CRASH! Anakin jumped up. The floating landing platform near the temple blew up. The explosion had engulfed the broken platform, and the debris was raining on the ground.

Anakin instinctively ran out of the temple, to find Padmé. The Senate building was on the other side of the city. He would take a long time to get there. And worst of all, there were no speeders. Its as if they had all vanished.

Meanwhile, Padmé was in awe of the chaos. The senate building was... well, it was gone. Just like that. It had faded away, accompanied by a blinding red light. She immediately called the elementary school, trying to get a hold of luke and leia.

No answer.

She was anxious to know where they were. Were they safe? Were they alright?

She looked around for an idea of what to do. Then there was a violent explosion, near Jedi temple. Oh No, she needed to find Anakin. She ran towards the temple, making a sharp turn every now and then, trying to avoid another explosion.

After about 15 minutes, Padmé was running beneath the eye the storm, the looming black sphere.  She looked up, and a dreadful fear antagonized her.

Anakin was just a few feet away. Spotting her, he called out for her.

"PADMÉ!"

"ANI!"

The two rushed to each other's side. They held each other in fear of what was happening.

Then Anakin felt a soft grass beneath his feet, as it replaced the silver cement of coruscant. The buildings began to fade and distort, disappearing suddenly. The urban scenery around them melted away, giving way to the neverending starry atmosphere. All that was left was the small patch of grass on which Padmé and Anakin were standing.

Anakin looked around with tears in his eyes. Padmé asked him in a quavering voice, "what happened?"

Then the headache came back. It tore through Anakin's mind, causing him discomfort and causing Padmé worry.

Before he could say 'ouch', he was flooded with memories of the truth.

He stared at Padmé as he realized it was all an illusion. Padmé must have taken notice, for she grabbed Anakin's hand, and asked,"what's wrong?"

Anakin pulled her hand close to his heart, kissed it, and simply cried out, "I don't want to go!"

Then Padmé understood. She could now see their old, true fate. She gave him a look reminiscent of her face on Mustafar, a pleading, grieving look.

"Anakin!" She cried out, holding on to him.

But before anything else could be said, the black orb expanded, slowly consuming the galaxy. Anakin and Padmé were blinded by a yellow light, until all he could see was Padmé's shaking yellow silhouette.

The Darth Vader awoke from his vision.
